Why is this (but not only this) quest like this?

    This is a valid solution (and possible with only 14 blocks)? It's correctly aligned with the map's orientation and doesn't make sense to be the other way around (which it apparently is). Just why?

    Anyways, look at "top print", and try to figure out how your construction looks like from top. It definetly correct, there are "2 squares placed in diagonal", but it is mirrored. You have "bottom-left and top-right" square if we look from top, but needed "bottom-right and top-left"
