Stealing grind with mage

I am trying to make a stealing build for olux slime grinding but wondering if it is even viable with mage. I dont have a shaman class leveled so i want to do it with mage. And if so, what is the best archetype/build for it?

 

I think the idea of stealing grinding is to have lots of attacks that do a small amount of damage each. So you would want to look for abilities that deal aoe damage rapidly which I guess would be burning sigil and lightweaver. If you can bunch the enemies up maybe you can teleport back and forth through a huge group of them rapidly.
