Misconceptions regarding the Qira Hive's location are abundant within the Wynncraft community. While the consensus is generally that it is, in fact, located somewhere on an island north of Corkus, some still believe it to be in the Wynn province, and a few exceptionally delusional believe (or, at least, pretend to believe) that it is located in Gavel, in the Canyon of the Lost (ridiculous, I know).
The foundations for this misconception are sprinkled throughout the world, with some NPCs referencing the location of the Hive as being in Gavel, and numerous other tidbits of lore intentionally placed to deceive. Salted himself came out one time saying that the Hive was in Gavel, but, as this was on April 1st, it was clearly meant as a joke.
What if, however, the reasons for people to claim that Qira's Hive is based in Gavel are darker than some red herrings in the lore? Well, that's what it seems like might be the case. One of the people who was pushing this claim, one of the most vocal, in fact, was later revealed to be an agent of Corruption. It seems as though she might be blackmailing, or otherwise coercing, numerous innocent civilians into convincing the public that the Qira Hive is located in Gavel. DO NOT LISTEN TO HER LIES!

First, make a nether portal. You can mine 10 obsidian pieces or make it with a lava pit and a water bucket. Light up the portal with any fire source. Now enter the nether and use the /seed command to see the seed of your world. Then open the website "chunkbase", in the section apps select "biome finder", insert your seed and select "nether". Now by applying a filter you can easily get the coordinates you can reach in game to the nearest Basalt Detlas.
