Attack speed down

I've been playing this game for a few days now. When I logged on today, and go to access my inventory, I see something that says attack speed down with a timer at 27 minutes that constantly resets itself. Is there a way to fix this? No matter what weapon and armour and jewelry I have it's there and I'm not seeing a way to fix it. if I'm being honest it's making it annoying to fight enemies when I am physically too slow to attack them. I really enjoy this game but it's not fun when I can't slash enemies quick

 

It's for visual effect, to make weapons with slow attack speed look like they attack slower. You can view your attack speed by hovering over your weapon.
