Infested Pit attunement quest changed?

Hey all, I recall doing Infested Pit previously and confirmed that I'm not insane through fragments in my bank. However, when I tried to enter it with my lowbie friend, I was shut out as if I hadn't done the attunement quest and discovered that there was a completely different chain of four quests that I need to do now?? I looked around and couldn't find anything pertaining to this other than the previous rework from the Spider Dungeon, which I don't believe I played. Can anyone explain what they did here?

 

The quest was reworked in update 2.0.3 and put into a new early game questline. Sometimes when quests are reworked they get reset, and thats what happend in this case.
Simply do the new questline, and once you get to the point of completely arachnids ascent you will unlock infested pit again.
