Why does the Final Reward Chest have a time limit?

Hey,
So I had a run I spend hours on. I ended up with 11 rerolls and 121 pulls and finished my run. Following this, I went and helped a friend on Forgery and we ended up doing 4 dungeons which took approximately 20 minutes. After that, I went back to Lutho only for the Final Reward Chest to have voided each and every bit of that reward.
I do not have a clue who had the bright idea of making the reward have a time limit, but that is disgusting!
I spent hours on a run and ended up unrewarded for all I did because there is not a single thing that indicates the camps doing such a thing.
I honestly want to swear but I really want to just ask the WynnCraft team here... WHY?
Also, please make it visible, or remove it completely, because having rewards voided like that, is NOT fun.

 

it used to last forever i think but i guess it might have been changed in order to prevent people from doing a good run, waiting for a reward pool they want, and then claiming it

i agree though that there should be a visible timer, and also 20 minutes is way too harsh and it should be changed to like 24 hours
alternatively, make unclaimed rewards refresh every friday alongside the reward pool

and this is all speculation of course, i don't know if this is an actual feature that was shadowpatched in or if you encountered a bug

 

I just experienced the exact same thing and I’m so upset :( my best run I’ve ever done gone because I wanted to get some food before I opened the chest

 

You sure it used to last forever? It was definitely already a thing only a few days after full release.

 

ive seen people talking about saving their pulls for the pool reset up until recently

 

They’re probably talking about getting enough pulls/rrs, but never ending the lootrun (since the pulls save forever if you stay in the run), then logging on to end the lootrun once the reward pool has changed.
The time limit to claim rewards has been a thing for a while, and I definitely think there should be a visible timer above the reward chest indicating that it exists

Dude… There goes a mythic I mean 121 pulls and 11 rerolls is like a guaranteed mythic. Honestly, I feel like you should ask someone for compensation, maybe not full price since we would t know what mythic you would’ve gotten but that deserves atleast SOME money
