Mage/Dark Wizard How should I distrbute my skill points as a mage?

Also, is there a respec in case I find that I screwed up somewhere down the line?

 

If you are in a town/city you can right click your skill points to regain any points that you have previously allocated.

As to your question in the title it depends on what type of mage you are building but generally Intelligence is going to be where you put most of your skill points into as mage.

 

Good to know skill points can be easily regained. As for my mage type, I'm going for an Arcanist. Generally going to play solo when I can if that changes anything.

Edit: Also planning on using The Singularity because big numbers on stick make brain go BRRRRR.

 

There are different ways you could build an Arcanist mage but if you're using Singularity you probably want a Rainbow build. Here is one example I found by @Sugo.

Okay so I may have been blinded by the numbers, because I do want to do a spell spam build, so I may need to change my plans on that. Quetzalcoatl seems good for that sort of strategy.

 

yeah singu may give really good numbers but quetz has advantages like walk speed that overshadow most other things as an arcanist mage
