Dialogue Options

How are you supposed to pick dialogue options that are above 9? Usually you just press the number on your keyboard but if you do that it just does the 1 option instead of 10.

 

You can press them in chat too with your mouse.

 

Open chat and click on the option
Using numbers has never worked for me though so that’s just how I’ve always done it

 

I'm going to honest... I never knew you could hit the number keys

 

You're not able to select an option if the number is the same as the hotbar slot you currently are on.
For example, if you are holding an item that's on the first slot of your hotbar and you try pressing "1" on your keyboard to try to select the first dialogue option, it won't work.
To fix this, simply scroll to a different hotbar slot first.

 

I figured out way too late that you could also use your hotbar and was so confused why I was auto-selecting dialogue options I don't want when I was scrolling between items while talking to an NPC

The chat legit has the options underlined my first instinct was to legit click on the dialogue
