Hello and help please?

Hello, just joined about a week ago after I played briefly back in 2016. Loving the game in its current state!

Currently just hit lv 70 and am stuck on the Temple of the Legends quest.

I'm having the same issue described in the quests bug report thread at /threads/quests.281826/page-5#post-3614748 (can't post full link - too new)

I would post on that thread but I'm too new and don't have permission yet. I've tried everything I can think of from /kill and /fixquests to fully logging out and back in with no change.

Any ideas?

 

Welcome soldier! I am glad you made it to the Llevigat docks, how was your travel? Was the sea stormy, or calm for once?
I am afraid the book you referenced does not exist, as it seems to have only four pages, so I cannot help you in your peril. Perhaps you could describe it here?


Also, do you happen to have old screenshots from 2016? I am an archivist and I am very curious about the past. Specifically, Nether (but also anything else)

 

Thanks for the welcome and the response! Not sure what happened to the post I linked, which is unfortunate because it had a link to a gif showing exactly what happens. Basically the quest book shows I can start the quest by talking to Kelight. Kelight gives 5 (I think) options but only the 4th seems to move the dialogue forward. He goes through a speech and says to go meet Jorkin at roots of corruption but the quest remains not started and talking to Kelight again just loops the same thing over and over. I found this post by Salted that v 2.0.3 modified this quest so it looks like something was broken with this update and will hopefully be fixed soon. I'm not sure what the best way of getting the info to Salted other than posting on that bugs thread which I'm not allowed to do yet.

And sorry unfortunately no screenshots from earlier times. I only played to like level 30 back then and didn't really get as into it as I am this time around.

 

That's the best part, there is not. Bug report is the intended mechanism for reporting this kind of stuff and bugging Salted would not help much.
