I was gonna add the community event tag but decided against it lol

This is a general complaint about the most recent nerf to Aqua beacons. (And less so to gray beacons)

Aqua stacking was fun, rng dependant, and extremely satisfying to pull off.

Tell me that isn't satisfying. Knowing in that instant that you will be lootrunning for the next 2 hours.

Overall, I'm fine with mythic rates being low because I'd rather simply enjoy the "endgame activity" as it was meant to be enjoyed with even just a slight chance of a mythic.
I could care less about finding mythics for the most part, but doing 6 runs with less than 30 challenges because I'm not able to stack White is boring. I want every lootrun to be an hour long, and while that isn't viable, I'd at least like my lucky runs to be busted (see below image) image-162.png

Basically: I don't want mythics, really. What I want is to get 60 boons and become so powerful that even with 90% mob resistance from curses I can still kill a 34million hp Destroy Challenge in 42 seconds.
My rush isn't from opening a chest and seeing purple particles, (I've found too many mythics to really get an adrenaline rush from that) it's to spend 2 hours flying around SE, beating the timer and strategizing when to use Green beacons

    Please bring back godruns, salted

    - Sincerely, those who would rather have fun than find mythics.

it was so sad when they added caps to boons... it was so unbalanced yet so fun and i want uncapped boons back................................................... this patch only further removes the fun from lootruns imo and its a shame

It truly is unfortunate that good game design must come at the removal of super fun OP stuff (this isn't a joke I really am sad).

100% True they shouldn't have removed aqua stacking. The Gray beacon nerf and mythic rates I'm fine with.

Aqua stacking being removed is fine, the problem is the grey beacon not appearing past 10 challenges so you either get it with an aqua stack or the run is bad

The thing with gray beacons is this:
You could stack them into oblivion and basically guarantee you'd get a mythic. The theoretical limit for rerolls was 10 vi-aqua into a vi-gray, resulting in 40 rerolls. That might sound "not so bad" but if you filled an end chest it'd be the same thing as doing 40 36 challenge lootruns.
    Main point:
It was broken and needed to be changed.

Aqua stacking, while it did enable that, also enabled fun and potentially dangerous things to be done. A vi-aqua stack into a vi-red could kill your run if you didn't get green beacons. But if you successfully stacked aqua into a white you get greatly rewarded. All of it was gatekept by Orange beacons, really.

Actually, let me talk about orange beacons really quick.
Beacon RNG is annoying, but necessary. If it wasn't for that the game could very easily be meta-ized and everyone would be getting 130+ runs. However, with orange beacons, you get to see more and more options, thus creating more and more strategy. Should you take a curse or boon? There's more but I am not willing to reveal my strategies yet.

Basically, my preposition is to make Gray and Orange act like Rainbow in relation to aqua stacking. They aren't effected by it, but they also don't reset it. Let them be Vibrant, but not stackable.
