Holey Moley the mythic rate feels a little, a little overnerfed (Extremely overnerfed)

Mythics went from being common to comically rare

I just did quick cursestack runs and got a Mythic pretty quickly, if you don't wanna spend 2-3 hours per run give this a try.


All LR changes pretty good BTW, I still think gray beacons need a drawback though (2 curses?)

Did they really have to nerf lootruns so drastically? Personally, I found them incredibly enjoyable before the nerf, and now this "hotfix" seems to be draining the fun out of the experience. Instead of completely slashing the chance for mythics, wouldn't it have been better to slightly lower it while keeping the beacons unchanged? Another option could have been to make the lootrun clan ranks more challenging to achieve and offer exclusive benefits tied to those ranks. Ever since the "hotfix," I've been resetting my runs repeatedly until I come across a rainbow, as it feels pointless to proceed otherwise due to heavy reliance on RNG. My friends share the same sentiment, and we all agree that this "hotfix" is a significant blow to the enjoyment of the game. In my opinion, it's quite a disappointing move.

 

Everyone I've talked with about this also dislikes it. I get that the market players were complaining about the market, but it really wasn't *that* bad. Warp still goes for five stacks of liquids plus, which is more than I will ever have. Lootruns feel much less rewarding without aqua stacking, and having a longer run feels pointless when I can just reset the run, hoping the stars will align to get the correct beacon sequence for more rerolls. If their main goal for this hotfix was making mythics rarer, they could have tuned the mythic rates or made the runs worse (also making them less exciting), but they went and did both.

 

Gotta agree with this, used to have alot of fun doing lootruns with my friends at the same time but since the hotfix there's no fun left, some of my friends just dont bother logging in anymore which really sucks :/

 

The hotfix has been live for less than 12 hours, what are you talking about lol

The intent of the system wasn't to make acquiring mythics a trivial matter

 

New beacons yhea, but the rainbow beacon should be black tho. I've ran into this bug where I see both red and red(rainbow) and it does not change colours so I missed my rainbows :c by going to the wrong one
Besides, is black man wth makes the most sense to be the rainbow as default or whatever.
