Previous (hypixel) skyblock player considering maining Wynncraft

Is there anything that I should know before I start playing?
Edit: For any reasons, my in-game name is skydude1234

 

- Use /class when you go afk so mobs can't kill you (Returns you to the class selection menu)
- Try and do all of the quests at least once, just for the experience
- Professions are completely optional, they take a long time to level up and aren't really useful until the late-game

Other than that, I think most of the stuff should be pretty easy to figure out in-game

I could go into some massive depth here but I'll just cover some basics I see new players deal with a lot

• Do /itemlock while holding your weapon so you don't accidentally drop it as there are no refunds for lost items
• Typically the gear you use doesn't matter until you hit level 90+, just use whatever appeals to you
• Don't be afraid to ask questions here or in the discord, people are more than happy to assist
• Experiment with the Ability Tree to see what fits your playstyle best (even if it's not the most popular)

 

I highly recommend playing without any Wynncraft-specific mods for your first playthrough/ first few sessions

Gives you the vanilla experience that way

 

One more thing:
Please don’t be toxic to other people, I have met former hsb players who were really chill and nice, but also quite a few ones who decided that taking like 5s longer than them to reach a teleport (referring to endgame raids) is enough to complain since it clearly takes too long…
But as written above the community is mostly really nice so enjoy your stay

and don’t forget that you can progress at your own speed here and money only really matters at levels 100+, there is little to no inflation so waiting a few weeks or even months until you start grinding for money doesn’t matter, just make sure you have fun
