Mob Glow

Idk if I'm in the right channel but this became the default while I was trying to find a good spot for it

Ok so the Wynn staff team is probably working on or planning to work on some sort of toggle for this thing but in the meantime I need to use this now so I'm doing this early



There's a way to hide the glow, right???

I meant like a mod or something but I can't seem to find one

Before you ask, no, optifine doesn't have an option to remove glow why do people think this is the case

It's a visual effect I am 95% sure it's hidable client-side

Are there any modders here lol I could use a little help



I cannot stand it any longer someone pls

I've started the search nearly a year ago I am on the verge of insanity










EDIT: FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME, OPTIFINE DOESN'T HAVE A HIDE GLOWING FEATURE. FAST RENDER DOES NOT HIDE GLOWING WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP TELLING ME THIS

Why don’t you try it before suggesting something that I most likely would have done with optifine the past entire year

How did so many people gaslight theirselves to think that it’s a thing optifine doesn’t even have a feature related to glowing what

 

Bruh, I have tried it for myself to fix an issue with mobs glowing.
I just misremembered what my issue was. I used Fast Render to fix an issue where glowing mobs would be one solid color instead of only their outline being a specific color.

If you're on forge, this will make everything worse

And why aren't you using the normal texture pack? (Oh and I had exactly the same problem and disabling fast render is the solution, if you're using optifine)

I looked around as well, and I couldn't find any Forge mod that disables glowing entities, let alone for 1.12.2. However, it seems some versions of Optifine have a bug that disables glowing when certain settings are enabled, perhaps you could use that.
According to this report, using OptiFine 1.15.2 HD U G1 pre13 has this "issue" when Fast Render is enabled.
This report states the same can be achieved with all or most 1.16.1 versions of Minecraft with Optifine, at least with Optifine 1.16.1 HD U G2, by enabling Internal Shaders.
Both require a different MC version than the one you're using, but since 1.12.2 is nearly six years old, I doubt you can find or commission something for your issue. I recommend switching versions or mod launchers, and making a thread in General Suggestions.

Anyways joking aside no one suggested /toggle outlines, even tho it seems obvious.
These outlines are most prbly a wynn feature.
