Final boss of wynncraft?

We actually do know. At the start of the raid, sometimes it says "The breach will grow bigger the more they cross" or smt like that.

 

The Eye is the closure of one arc, The Nameless is the beginning of another.

Aledar and Tasim have the Eye leading up to them, you have to beat the Eye to even fight them.

I've never had that experience... it probably depends on your build, but Aledar and Tasim can kill you way faster making the fight feel overwhelming, whereas the Eye is a slower fight that you have to last a long time in, which makes it hard, but it feels like you can methodically figure out what to do. Most of the Eye's attacks are pretty easy, which can't be said about the Aledar and Tasim experience where you are getting bombarded by the two bosses and a bunch of different mobs. Aledar and Tasim do seem to die a lot faster as of 2.0 though.

As Wynncraft doesn't have a main story line there is no final boss. There are however final bosses to different story arcs. The current biggest final bosses would be The parasite (Orphion) the Canyon Colossus though that is a continuous fight and the Eye. the Corrupter of worlds is also a pretty big one though it feels more like a side story kinda thing imo. Aledar and Tasim bossfight isn't cannon as AHC is essentially just the "What if...?" of Wynncraft. Other final bosses of story arcs we are expecting are the fruman queen though that has always just been a random theory with no foundation and potentiall the dern beast. Bak'al could also be a boss but since he is just a servant of what we can just assume to be the dern beast he would be more of a stepping stone than a final boss of a story arc. Greg is a big boss but he has little obvious lore besides creating void holes so having a connection to void and dern in unknown ways afaik. Basically Greg just like Aledar and Tasim is more of a gameplay boss than a story final boss.

 

the eye has the most leading up to it. It is my favorite boss and is fun but its kinda easy now

I mean in like a main continuous storyline. Most things aren't directly connected that's why I said it's more different story arcs than a storyline.

there is no main storyline lol, its more like a series of lore-relevant quests and questlines that add up to some kind of weird all over the place messy story. it's still one of wynn's biggest problems imo and i'd love to see an actual main storyline added at some point

 

Thematically it's the Eye, for now. It's the final boss of the (current) final questline of the mythological "main storyline" of Wynn, and it has a direct connection to what should, in theory, be the ACTUAL final boss of the entire game (the Dern Beast).

 

It's only messy because a third of the time Wynn was around there was no regard to a cohesive story.

 

The “main storyline” really only begins in my mind at the start of the Realm of Light series. Everything before that is scatter shot “go here, do this task”. Less than half of the quests in the game even pretend to contribute to a cohesive storyline. Frankly, the Secret Discoveries do a better job of telling cohesive stories than the quests do.

 

the ct is a volunteer organization that seems to be running on the absolute minimum viable personnel. it has worked miracles under this system, but unfortunately those miracles have gotten to the point that people expect them to have the capabilities of an entire studio. mmorpgs are hard. they're very clearly doing the best they can.

(i think that they ought to have started expanding their logistics to match the scope of their growing game years ago. but that's a matter of opinion.)
