How is Wynncraft Made?

Hi, I do Spigot plugin development sometimes and I was wondering how Wynncraft was made. Does Wynncraft use Spigot/Bukkit plugins, or maybe server-side mods? I've tried looking it up but I couldn't find anything.

I have been playing on this server for many many years and after experiencing most of what it is capable of and what it has to offer I can safely say with 100% certainty that the entirety of Wynncraft is run with just vanilla command blocks

 

idk I heard that it's just Salted at his computer running console commands that gets the server to run, not 100% though

 

Part command blocks, part unique coding language called WynnScript, based on JavaScript, and part other stuff my smooth brain knowledge of technology can't comprehend.

 

wynncraft is made in a few ways
it runs on minecraft server software with plugins that allows wynncraft to exist
java creates things like:
- trade market
- combat presumably

its used on things like:
- quests
- enemies (altho this uses YAML sometimes?)
- raids
- the custom events
it's also a bit of command blocks for things like:
- puzzles
- cutscenes (?)
there's also some yaml used for (gm doc is source):
- creating mobs
- quest npc dialogue & stages

a lot of this is guesswork but this is most likely whats going on

I'm almost 100% sure that it's just a Datapack that the team works on combined with a very intricate resource pack since everything is vanilla. I'd put examples but the forums somehow reads my examples as links/email addresses?
