    how are we supposed to play this? cause the game gave me a sword while everyone else got wands and bows, this doesn't feel fair at all.

    Everyone starts with a sword. You have to use that sword to kill enemies around the arena to obtain resources. Then you can use said resources to buy special weapons and upgrades.
