    The saddest part is obviously the alternate ending you unlock after failing Queen's Escort after beating Fabled Island. If you do this, then, when the Talking Mushroom assassinates the queen, Mister Fabled (from the aforementioned Fabled Island) isn't there to take her place, cause you killed him
    so then Yahya does a violent uprising but gets backstabbed (quite literally) by Nohno.
    Yahya's death scene may be the saddest thing I have ever seen, bar none.

    Hate when Professor Eih from shattered minds appears on the other side of the dern portal and goes yammering on about clocks. Really ruined the immersion for me
