So how many of yalls are grinding for the Salted Body Pillow

ok it actually wasn't directly added in game, but an item called the Bizarre Bovine Plushie was added, costing 64 Diamond Tokens, so eh. Closest thing there will be to a body pillow.

Anyways time to not touch grass for a few weeks.

Edit: Ok so doing the math, an average game of TCtH is about 15 mins, and the usual reward for me is 2 talespun thingamajigs, which is 4 golden tokens. However, the target minigame ends up turning out massive profits. And average game lasts about 35 seconds, and I often get more than 32 silver coins per game, so this value will be set to 34. Taking into the account the 12 silver coin fee it costs, I end up turning a 22 coin profit per game. Every 3 games, I will get a golden token alongside 2 silver coins (ill just be ignoring this for simplicity), so every minute and 45 seconds, I get a golden token, i get 4 golden tokens every 7 minutes, less than half of TCtH. Taking the calculations into effect, every 112 minutes, I get a diamond token, or 1 hour and 52 minutes. However, if I do 1 token per day, that is not going to be enough, so I need to do 4 minimum, taking 7 hours and 28 minutes per day just doing this. Due to a critical error I can't believe I didn't factor in, this is going to be a huge challenge. Idk if I'll be able to do it, given how this is a very demanding time, but eh.

You're going to lose most games, which gives you 3 of the talespun tokens, which become 6 of the gold tokens. Salted plush costs 64 diamond tokens, or 4096 gold ones. By my calculations, that's about, eh, 680 games. A fast game tends to last about 10 minutes (though I suspect if you got a super dedicated grinding group who don't even play the game and just grind the rewards, you could drop that to like 5 minutes).

So, somewhere over 110 hours on this game for the Salted plushie, by my estimate. Not even counting the other rewards.

Unless you want to gamble and risk losing potentially tens of hours of progress.

The daily scavenger hunt tickets give pretty much nothing, either, like 20-24 silver tokens per each one. Literally less than a sixth of what losing a game gives you, utterly insignificant.

I know it's a joke item but jeez, over a hundred hours in a minigame just for it. I wouldn't do it if you value your sanity.

 

That's where you're wrong: target practice is actually a skill-based minigame thats very easy to make a profit on if you do singular rounds. It's also skill-based too, so getting a score between 32-36 isn't that hard to me either.

 

ok upon further research i have determined i should not expect to get the salted body pillow this year. probably next year tho bc of the sheer time requirements.
