How to clear your bank?

If someone, for instance, would like to start a new character completely fresh with a clean bank, how would they hypothetically clear the bank fully?

 

The enderchest connects through all of your classes, you can transfer stuff through classes. If you want to clear it, you'll have to throw or sell away the items

 

Just hold Q until you empty your bank. Or you can put everything on the tm

 

Depending on your playstyle, you have 3 options:

1) Throw away or sell everything in your bank so nothing is left, then start a new class. This option, however, will hurt any other classes already existing if you choose to take this route, as any bank items that would have benefitted them are now gone. Only do this if you plan on deleting every class and starting completely fresh.

2) Ignore the pages with stuff in them and only use empty pages in your bank. There will be a small bit of temptation if you are trying to avoid using anything from those pages, but you'll still have the things in there for your other classes if needed.

3) Play ironman mode. This mode forces you to collect everything on your own on that specific class; however you'll be unable to use the bank or trade market if you do so. This option hinges on whether you want to use the bank or trade market on this class, because choosing it will lock you out of both versus the other two options.

Personally I'd go with #2 but it's up to what you prefer. Like someone above said, there isn't a way to reset the bank on another class so the only way to do it is to clear it yourself.
