Note for both builds below: Diamond Fusion Necklace requires you to run LI twice, but you can get help from one or two other people via party finder if necessary.

However, you can still sort of use the second build without a tome; just replace Summa with Prism. But Summa is better in that build, so try to get one of the above tomes if you can.

These builds rely on stealing + Greed + Magnet + stealing for healing, since Arcanist doesn't have the heal spell. Both builds can solo Legendary Island without potions, and can also work in TNA with Speed Surges.

As a side note, you should know that Arcane Transfer doesn't reset spell costs, and that hitting Thunderstorms is the main source of your mana sustain. The typical spell cycle for Arcanist is something like (3 meteors + 1 ice snake) x 2 + Arcane Transfer (hopefully to activate Chaos Explosion).
