unbearable wynncraft lag spikes (shit proxy)

    It has been a while since wynncraft have gotten this goofy issue - crazy lag spikes. The funniest part is that I am not the only one experiencing and it is quite annoying to be honest. No way this is that hard to fix this.

    Idk how to solve the lag spikes and I didn’t really notice them while playing except for NoL but the raid is always really laggy in the boss room. Maybe reducing the particle limit (/particles low ingame) will help if the lag is mainly present during combat.
    I just wanted to say that Wynn only has 800-900 players most of the time around this time of the day. Most people will join in 5-6 hours at the time of writing this post. Yesterday I saw it having around 1.5k people online.

    would you (and anyone else having this issue) mind running a MTR (https://sourceforge.net/projects/winmtr/) to play.wynncraft.com for about a minute when you're experiencing these lag spikes, and DM it to me (in private, don't post the output in public) on the forums? that's the only way we can look at what's happening and perhaps fix it

    I have this issue and interestingly when I ran winmtr the lag completely vanished. I don't know if this is a temporary respite or if I accidentally fixed it by running that.

    nah its not an issue with the particles but you are right about the playerbase activity, havent noticed it
