Hey, I just started playing Wynncraft and noticed the community's interest in merchandise, and how Salted was interested in it but didn't really know how to start. So, I recommend "Makeship."

A couple years ago we tried really hard to make this a thing. Salted said he'd do it if we found a manufacturer and seller. Unfortunately we never did succeed, although we could probably revive the project now if enough people support it

Ok, I've been wanting plushies/irl merch for a LOOOOOOONG time. So much so that I even ordered a custom HIC symbol T-shirt awhile back.

Here are some things I'd like to see:
Shirts/hoodies/articles of clothing
Plushies (ofc, though I'd like more variety than just wybels.)
Keychains (Wynn logo, small starter weapons, mythic box)
Art. (I'd looooove to see plaques/framed official concept art!)
Collectibles from festivals. (Stuff you can get IRL for buying crates/maybe something you can earn ingame?)

 

For more context on merch, the biggest obstacle for it is really just the amount of people that would buy it, and if it would even be profitable.

So if there are 1,000 people interested in merch only a fraction will realistically buy it, and with the costs of producing and manufacturing the merch it is unrealistic for Wynncraft to create and sell it since it will be a loss in the end.
If a cheaper manufacturer is used then the quality will be awful and people wouldn't want to buy it.

In the end there just needs to be more people that would legitimately buy the merch on a consistent basis for it to be produced.

 

What we really need is a 10ft tall orphion plush

 

problem is that the merch needs to be very expensive if it's done that way. It is expensive to produce one single custom product, but it gets a lot cheaper when multiple can be produced at once

 

So have a wait list and order threshold? Have people sign up to pay for a product and choose "order now" for a higher price (I'll throw out random numbers) of $30 USD or "order once 100 orders are placed for a discount. (77/100 orders)" for a lower price of $16 USD
