    Hi everyone!

I'm looking to see what the hardest archetype and playstyle is to play. Ideally you would need some good sense of how the mechanics work and good knowledge of what's going on around you.

The reason I want to know this is because I'm looking to return to Wynncraft. I originally quit because I felt like the game wasn't challenging enough (I played acolyte, maybe that was the reason?)

I know there's ETW but I feel like that's a bit too extreme due to Wynncraft's poor telegraphing, so things outside of ETW if possible.

TL;DR I want a usuable but really challenging archetype & playstyle. I don't need a build - I will probably try and make it myself.

i dont rly know but i challenge you to make acrobat do damage cri (without mythics and still be able to live).

but really how about heavy melee shade or even tierstack because i had a hard time playing that, especially against fast bosses like tna where i seemed to be doing nothing

generalist warrior is a pretty interesting build concept that you can try

basically take axe kick and then don't mess up

    WynnBuilder build:
    > Morph-Stardust
    > Libra
    > Aleph Null
    > Revenant
    > Summa
    > Draoi Fair
    > Detachment
    > Diamond Fusion Necklace
    > Collapse [t6f6f6]

    build example / video example

it might take awhile to get used to; you can also try a more heavy spell / heavy hybrid variation to get used to the generalist gameplay cycle

    might look something like this

    WynnBuilder build:
    > Brainwash
    > Tisaun's Valor
    > Greaves of the Veneer
    > Phage Pins
    > Downfall
    > Flashfire Knuckle
    > Flashfire Gauntlet
    > Contrast
    > Alkatraz []

the build itself can be relatively "comfy" (my build is pretty high ehp and really good ws) but you have to really stay on your toes with respect to keeping track of the current state of your generalist activation, and also powder specials are funny (they actually count as a spell towards generalist activation lol)

the main gameplay loop is relatively simple (just loop 3 spells) until you inevitably mess up or have to cast move spell

While it’s not as complicated as generalist abuse warrior, I recommend pure ms shadestepper.
It’s fairly simple in terms of spell cycling-you throw smoke bombs (or spam spin if you have high ehp) while strafing around the boss at high speed, stack 6 marked and backstab before returning into vanish, etc..
The difficulty comes from landing melee hits to activate mana/life steal, as you’ll need to get in close and avoid melee attacks to sustain yourself. Although Chain Lightning is what I use personally to gain health and mana without taking too many risks, certain builds will use Wind Prison to boost your backstab damage. This is where your skill comes in, as you’ll have to avoid boss attacks, maintain your spell cycle, stack melee hits to activate wind prison, and time your backstabs in order to strike within the time your powder special is active.
Here are three different builds ranging in a scale of difficulty from least to greatest:

Nullification Chain Lightning Heavy Hybrid Shadestepper:

Oblivion Chain Lightning Heavy Hybrid Shadestepper (what I personally use):

Weathered Wind Prison Heavy Hybrid Shadestepper (stolen from the 2.0 mythic builds thread):
