My Sad 2023 Experience

This is somewhat unrelated to Wynncraft but I want to share this situation to reduce this frustration of mine a bit.


As most of you don't know, my Microsoft account got secured and blocked from me for some damn reason since the 2nd of January (The worst starting days of the year) and my account is still blocked today.

What makes this problem worse is that my account is registered with my old number and the verification code is not going to me anymore. I've been trying my damn hardest to get it back but Microsoft is pretty much being an a55hole on this. (I've made like 15 appeals and all got denied)


Truth be told, I'm very much giving up on trying cuz of this sheer feeling of hopelessness...


I don't care much about the account but what I care about the most is my Wynncraft progress. I've spent 2 years, 2 YEARS playing Wynncraft. I know this might not sound that long but it is a pretty long time for me. I can confidently say that I've spent more time in the Wynncraft server than in my own survival world. I had so many memories, so much progress, and so many plans in my acc, but all of those were stolen from me...

I missed playing Wynncraft, I missed running around and just killing random mobs nearby, I missed playing my Archer, Mage, and Shaman classes, I missed fighting against bosses and challenges, I missed my mythic that I've spent months searching and treasuring so much. I missed doing random sh*t anywhere. I missed everything about Wynncraft...

Thank you for listening to my pointless post here. I hope you guys can pray for me to get my acc back and hopefully, it won't take months or years to get it back...

I had the same thing a few years ago - Microsoft are the worst. I ended up losing 5+ years of Wynncraft progress, but it was actually kinda refreshing to start fresh on a new account.

 

I did think of starting fresh again but I'm scared to do so, the memories and progress will haunt me. My beloved mythic, my 69% freedom overall will be left alone. I didn't even get the chance to organize my 21 bank pages full which are still full to the brim :(
For now I'll my best to get my acc back

 

A similar thing happened to me during the mojang to microsoft account transfer. I tried to start playing again, but could not bring myself to do so until the trailer for 2.0 was dropped. Giving feedback, reporting bugs, being apart of the community, being there for day 1 beta assassin crashing all servers, and watching the process of the project is what pushed me to start playing again. If you want to play, it won't take long to get a class or two to level 105, but don't force yourself to play if you don't want to.

Microsoft has absolutely the least helpful support page of any PC game I've played, I'm sorry you have to go through this too.

 

And yet here we all are playing wynncraft on computers that run windows.
