Art Lari Figurine made IRL

Any Lari simps?

I initially was going to make this for meme purposes sometime in 2023 (I'm not even a fan of Lari), but after seeing the Blizzard art contest, I decided to make her early and submit her for that as well. I completed her right before New Years.

I did not win but I did get "points" as in I got 20 crates.

Editted 3D model, 3D printed resin, and hand-painted by me

3D model was made on blender by @Trashiejunkyard. I took this model and a Light Bearer Spectre Wand from the Wynncraft resource pack and posed her with the wand. I then proceeded to edit the model in such a way where it can be 3D printed by my resin printer. After cleaning her, taking off the supports, and further curing (to harden model), I then painted her.

I invited my IRL friends over to paint their own models that I had printed for them earlier to paint with me. Here's a progress picture of Lari along with the completed paintings of all my other friends' models:

Once I finished, I sprayed her with clear coating to protect her from light damage and to make her shiny.

If you noticed, the wand broke from her hand when she fell onto me while I was trying to paint. Best I could do at the time was to hot glue it back. Super glue didn't work since the way it cracked was too jagged for it to work well. What I would have done if I had access at the time is to take some uncured resin as glue and blast some UV light onto it to harden, pretty much as if super glue was used.

No, I will not do Ava even if @Trashiejunkyard releases his/her 3D model publicly. I am running out of space on my shelves and desks.

No I am not selling her nor making her as merch. Takes so much time.



Total time spent: 25 hours

• 3 hours of editing blender/sliced print model
• 12 hours of printing (automatically)
• 2 hours of cleaning, taking off supports, and curing
• 8 hours of painting

That's awesome! I imagine you could make a whole custom Wynn-themed campaign with more of these. Only thing I'd change is her pose, it's a bit static and stiff, especially her left hand.

 

You literally can, yes. I'm not great at posing so I left her as is.

 

Normally I would say something but I'll stay quiet with respect to the sick piece of art they have made.
