Recruit A Friend Problems

I am trying to use the recruit a friend feature to get some rewards but when I do /friend add [username] it say's we are friends, but when I open the Recruit a friend page that friend isn't there. I've tried adding a friend from that page but when they do /friend accept [username] it just says online friends and then my username. If someone could find out what I'm doing wrong please let me know.

 

Yeah, this is a bug that’s effecting a lot of people. My best advice is to make a bug report and hope it get fixed soon.
