Powder conv f6f6f6, its better keeping it duo elemental, and you would have courage boost
Also try to get axe kick, it works great with conv becouse of its -3spell%

Actually, the tree is messed up and I do have axe kick. I changed it and it does make a huge difference in the build below. I also tried swapping powders in the build and wynnbuilder gives me slightly less power with f6f6f6. It has t6t6t6 because it came that way and I haven't messed with it. It's not crazy weak, but kind of feels that way because I swapped between it and a more aggressive tcrack build; if I were to go back and forth with Convergence and an Infidel build, I would likely find that it is substantially more powerful.

    WynnBuilder build:
    > Albacore

I think tough skin is a better upgrade than vehement here, since you dont walk much with this build. Also, radiance is a really good skill that adds dmg, tank and sustain bonus for a few seconds.

I am not seeing the advantage to the first one. Substantially less power and less hp, but ehp about the same and a slight bump in mr.

I had to plug in my tomes for your second one to work:
    https://hppeng-wynn.github.io/build...0U0e141G0j1f00001006CO150z0+0+0+0+0njdhydDJQI
and then I do see a slight gain in power and a very slight increase in mr and the lower charge cost, which can be a big deal to break out of the cost multiplier from dancing around a tough mob/boss throwing uppercuts. I have a Charging Flame I can carry primarily for travel and/or long parkour flights, but if I am astute enough to swap off in battle (probably not, but maybe with practice) it gives me a greater savings.

Hetusol is a tough decision. I have a good one and have used it in a lot of builds; it has great hp, hpr and mr plus the 10 defence points, but the deficits in damage are for Convergence's two strongest elements.

Stratosphere also has the mr and damage bonuses for relevant elements and a nice spell bonus, but less hp and no hpr. It also has no skill point bonus, but that has an odd advantage for me. Parkour is my Achille's heel. Stratosphere has a jump height bonus, which *can* help with that. Emphasis on can because sometimes it is a hindrance due to head room. I ran into that a few times with one I had for a while that had +2. I recently got one that had a little more damage bonus and mr and only has +1, which I think is better most of the time. +2 or more will sometimes make a step up into a doorway a problem. Anyway, because there are no skill points, I can take it off and put it back on pretty freely without other dependent things coming off, so I can easily do it on one platform to do a low head room jump and then put it back on for the next. I can also carry an alternative like Ornamental Plate if I ever got in an odd situation where I needed the hp and spell power, like a jump with low headroom that will immediately put me in combat/danger. Of course I would lose some hp, a little mr and some elemental defense. But power is actually remarkably close to the same:

I see that; I keep forgetting that courage helps with spells. But the reason I keep forgetting is that it rarely seems to matter since it isn't always available so I tend to forget to even check to see if I have it charged up. I should get better about that and try to get the advantage from it. So you are ight to suggest it and it is wrong that I don't see it as much of an advantage, if that makes sense.

starting to back off and play way less for a while, waiting for new content and getting a little burned out on grinding profit, especially right now when I really don't have much on my shopping list as odd as that sounds. I might get on sometime soon and maybe do two or three attempts at cgg to try out some alternatives. Besides this build with Convergence, I have a couple of Thrundacrack. They have more power but less survivability (unless you count killing things quicker as providing survival, and that's somewhat valid) and sustain issues.

Seems that i didnt compare the first build with yours well, my fault
But convergence strongets elements still are water and fire, not thunder and earth (not just becouse there is %boost for them).

You are correct on elements. It's water and thunder that Stratosphere has bonuses for and are the two strongest on mine because of the powders and I got my wires crossed talking about Hetusol, which has the Earth deficit. It's odd that wynnbuilder doesn't show Neutral on Convergence. I think the roll of the one I got may have influenced the previous owner's decision to powder with Thunder.

I really appreciate the work and thought you (and dogwqtr as well) put into replies. I have learned a lot from you, even though I often veer off on what I actually end up using. I may have to try that build at some point. the 25% drop in hp is a little spooky, though it has 10% higher ehp. Less mr, but needs less. I am not really a spell spammer or at least not a high speed one.

Oh yeah, I misspoke about the tougher skin earlier; I forgot that was the actual name of an ability. I meant the Rejuvinating and Mythril abilities. I think I need to change my tree to drop Earth and Air mastery and get Cyclone. I never get Radiance because I rarely use Bash and mostly play solo.

Below is my not amazing actual spear. As I said earlier, I got a middlin' one so as not to spend too much trying it out. I like it, and the advice to try it (I think you are one of the people who said it fits my style) is good advice. But there is serious sticker shock to upgrade. I paid less than 2 & 1/2 stx. The better upgrade candidates are 6+ stx. My war chest is down to about half a stx and even if I decided to sell my tcrack (don't think so), I would get maybe 3 stx for it. I really like having both spears though. Convergence fits my playstyle, but that tcrack power is addictive.

here is an odd little tidbit. Infidel can drop into that build. Infidel has a crazy power range; roll of the dice every time you take a swipe at something. It's max is actually a fair amount higher than Convergence, but the low end is about a third of Convergence's. And being able to do an extra uppercut or two when in close is a huge difference.
