During my 10k Event I had a 3 hour long interview with the cowman himself and well here are some of the highlights regarding everything related to Wynncraft's future that we talked about :p

About the marriage system, is it basically a co-op?

 

well in the uncut version Salted discussed how in other games, a marriage could give a small 5% xp bonus to the players, it would probably be something like that

 

The way he answers the Tasim question sounds like he just realized they forgot they were going to.

"Could we see Tasim returning in Fruma?"
"Maybe... as if I'm gonna answer that."

Underrated but Dernel Jungle should get an update, for how it's name has dern in it, the only lore it has related to it is some olm ruins

 

dernel is an anagram of Needlr and does not associate with dern in any way, shape, or form, especially in any legal court

 

besides what @cmosier said Olm ruins are not related to dern in any way either. As far as we know the Olm lived in Time Valley then moved to the now ruined olmic city and when something bad happened there which was probably related to the Silent Expanse being infected with the Darkness/Dern influence they moved on to the dernal jungle where they have some association with the Wynn excavation apparently which is interesting because the cristals were also found withing the Silent expanse and that's pretty much all we know. So the Olm aren't related to Dern in any way. We can merely assume that they had an encounter with Dern influence at some point which probably led to them fleeing from the Silent Expanse. However they also know Time magic so only the Bovine god can know what's actually going on with them(In this case more likely Grian than actually Salted).

 

The "something bad" was them being attacked by beasts coming from Dern, and being captured and brought to Dern, later escaping to the Dernel Jungle through the use of the crystals seen in WynnEx.

Actually, Dernel does very vaguely relate to Dern, which seems to have been discussed a bit.
The Olm fled from Time Valley to the Expanse, where they were pulled into Darkness, leaving their cities abandoned apart from potential stragglers that now cease to resemble their former selves. A few managed to use the crystals to leave, and those few fled to Dernel Jungle, where they began to go mad from the cosmic magic.
