Bug with recruiting friend not working

i (ig: Jeisces), have been trying to add my friend (ig: jareick) to my referral. they have done the king quest with the tutorial, we are both friends in game, and in the same party. they just logged into wynncraft for the first time, and they also haven't been able to see the message to accept the referral. but they can see in chat when I cancel it. i cant find another forum post about this issue, or any associated commands we could use to force this to work. I have no other recruited friends (big sad), so my list cant possibly be full?
