    Some friends and I have been going through wynncraft, and being this is my 6th go around I'm laughing at how easy everything is. We're destroying bosses, flying through quests (that are at our level, mind you), and ultimately rarely die. Not sure if this is because of 2.0, or the fact that we're a group of 4. It's taking a lot of the thrill out of things. Honestly not sure what a good solution is here, other than bumping up some of the difficulty (we're currently hovering around lvl 30-40, which I get is still early game, but it's laughable). Giving mobs more hp would be my suggestion, as we're one shotting everything.

    hmmm maybe because you keep says we oh we just wrecked everything we are always winning.

    no wynn is not too easy although several early to mid game bosses have become much easier to kill and need to be buffed. idk bout late game sometimes it feel really hard and sometimes it dont

    soloeing early to mid isnt that easy but overall maybe buff the more dated bosses

    I think the problem regarding endgame stuff is that mythics/crafted items are just insanely powerful compared to other items (which makes sense) but buffing any bosses is just going to make it even worse for folks using non mythic/crafted gear. As much as I would love for some stuff to get buffed I am worried it might do more harm than good since the game is intended to be done solo (with the exception of ??? and raids)

    To clarify, we're intentionally using bad weapons, no crafteds, nothing like that. The point of this post is to encourage the idea of difficulty scaling in parties. The game is somewhat easy in solo (in my experienced opinion), but laughable in parties. Considering wynn is an mmo, it should have more party oriented design.

    Not sure if it would be possible, but it would be interesting in some scenarios (not necessarily all) if bosses could be buffed based on the number of people in a party? Kind of like how with forgery the dungeons scale with the player's level.

    That and the fact that you’re an experienced player is probably why it seems easy, Wynn is far more difficult for new players playing solo. Besides, despite what it says, the game isn’t optimized at all for multiplayer content, as bosses and mobs become trivial threats if you have a team to help you.

    bosses arent rly bosses anymore. they just seem like mobs with a lot of health. 2.0 buffed players so everything is pretty easy at the moment. admin should defeinietly do something about that.

    i think maybe after the first playthrough on your first class for example 30+ hours on one class or lvl 100 reached on a class, everything solo (quests boss alters whatever) gets a little bit harder when your around, and this can stack so it would also fix the party problem

    I’d say the Hive bosses are still difficult. The only boss imo that isn’t a boss anymore is Amadel. He aged incredibly poorly.

    I personally find Dark Souls 3 to be laughably easy. This is not because it is an easy game, or because I'm sort of amazingly talented elite gamer. It's because I have a positively silly number of hours spent playing it and know the mechanics and areas and bosses far better than anyone ever should. I know I can beat it without too much trouble, even if I deliberately handicap myself. I've done so. A new player would not reasonably be able to, purely due to lack of experience with the mechanics and the game in general. Many new players find the game too difficult. If it were balanced around what I, as someone who has a number of hours that I'm embarrassed to admit but will state to be well within 4 digits, finds challenging, hardly any new players would be able to pick it up.

    Wynncraft is an MMO that's made to appeal to a wide range of players. The early game should not be difficult to someone who has played it multiple times because any new player would likely find that absurdly difficult and would never stick around. The game is balanced around what an average new player would want to deal with. By balancing it around what a group of experienced players finds challenging, only new players who are willing to deal with an incredibly high level of difficulty would stick around, and I sincerely doubt there's a huge population of people who want absurdly challenging games and who also want to play an MMO in Minecraft.

    yeah except 2 of the 4 haven't played wynn before so no. They're still wrecking everything despite not understanding how to make builds, proper skill point usage, etc..

    ok but seriously they do need to buff early-game bosses like Dr. Essren and Well Witch, they die in three seconds

    Honestly, I don't care about game difficulty unless the game is difficult in an unfair/frustrating way, or if the game is so easy nothing takes any effort, and Wynncraft is generally easy but there are some moments of challenge playing solo, so I don't really have an issue with Wynncraft's difficulty.

    This is because he isn't endgame anymore. He was actively nerfed at some point from my memory. He isn't supposed to be as hard as he used to be anymore.

    In general you all have to watch more new players play early game. Even enemies that seem completely obsolete to us who understand the movement, how to utilize spells and how mobs work in general can be challenging or even easily kill for someone who is facing them for the first time with no experience. Generally there are certainly areas which need rebalancing but that will always be the case with an evergrowing MMO like Wynncraft that is supposed to be soloed without any major issues. Sure bosses can be challenging but especially until around level 40 which is where most players only start to slowly get used to the mechanics and get ready for actually harder content the difficulty shouldn't be that high since the main focus should be understanding the game mechanics at that point and not being challenged with hard bosses already which you can barely understand yet as handling your abilities is already enough of a struggle.

    As for you and your party: you have 4 ppl of which 2 are experienced in a game which is meant to be fairly easily soloed. You say even the 2 who haven't played and don't understand build crafting etc. aren't having issues but that is probably since they are playing with experienced players who if they have questions can answer them quickly which makes learning the basic game mechanics incredibly much easier and by that the entire early game. (Which early game is until the mid to end level 40s)

    In conclusion it can be said that the early game content should not be more challenging as of rn. Sure some content might need rebalancing and yes a party scaling system could be cool. However all party scaling systems so far were scrapped(Yes they existed if you weren't aware) because they didn't do much good for the 50% of the active player base who are still on their first playthrough and trying to understand all mechanics. Besides that and most importantly. The Content Team is always busy and since they work on a voluntary basis they chose themselves how much they work and that time is better spent on making more new content and working on reworks and rebalancing on the side. Especially a universal scaling system would be an incredible amount of effort for the devs to get done properly and it is barely really interesting for most players so working on Fruma seems like a better Focus I'd say.

    That feels kinda sus bc even quests such as From the Mountains and Roads to Peace had way harder bosses, yet they’re not endgame either. But I’ll take your word though since I wouldn’t know if he was nerfed or not.
