honestly ajb/ajf and hollow serenity is most emotional for me
funniest is the rol lari fight where im like three quarters health or something and laris acting like i almost died or seaskipper in general

No quests had left me emotionally enraged other than Pirate's Trove (now i wish he could have atleast gave 1000...) Though in terms of emotionally sad, I would say Hollow's Serenity. That quest is fucked up as hell. I thank myself for choosing to tell Katarina that Eileen's fine instead of the other option.

for the lines... i dont remember exactly, but it was from professor eih from shattered mind quest where if you fail to go across the teleporters like 2 times (i think) he'll be like fuck this im gonna show you the way by blocking all the other teleporters youre dumb as hell and that got me laughing so hard.

 

definitely the most emotional is when axelus died... i loved that guy.

best emotional moments, in no particular order:
lari's confusion post RoL4 where she goes 'mr guardian of the forest why the HECK did you try to get me to kill the player' which i completely related to (as opposed to, i dont know, getting her mad at literally any other outright evil character instead? lol)
hollow serenity was a completely horrifying quest, so hats off to the quest team for that. think i got goosebumps at some point.
the eye's fight was also relatively emotional for all of its chaos, particularly thanks to the music. genesis of the end goes from to chaotic to epic to 'kill or be killed' and the fight's different phases mirror that very well
non-emotional lines:
the old blizzard fest dialogue featuring [honip lol]; it's cute to see the content team's placeholder text isn't stuck-up and over professional. also wonder what other meme placeholders they use from time to time.
ope from infested plants roasting the player's choice of armor. it gets skipped a lot because it's an earlygame quest with not much to it, but it's kinda funny
all of caissop's quest because the entire concept is hilarious
agree with Erebuis on gale's post-fight dialogue. in a game where 98% of enemies want your corpse a thousand kilometers under, fighting a friendly and encouraging opponent is really refreshing and nice to see. also gale's lore made her already one of my favorite npcs even before winter fest dialogue was a thing.

 

Honestly, my most emotional moment was probably just the eye fight. It was the first playthrough, so it felt like the culmination of all the quests and story I had done so far.


Plus awesome music and a really nicely designed battle.

I remember the first time I did Point of No Return, the ending sequence made me cry because I wasn't in a great spot mentally at the time. Being forced back over and over and being told that the only thing stopping me was my own fear and insecurity was... emotional, to put it lightly. Finally making it through the portal made me feel really accomplished in the moment and made me think a lot about what was happening in my own reality. I probably stood silently in Lutho just thinking for a good ten minutes after finishing that quest.

Point Of No Return is the only moment in the game where I got goosebumps and a tear in my eye. Playing it for the first time at 4am in a completely dark room with chill music during sad times was a real vibe
