    imma reveal thought process.
    N O B L E --> 14 15 2 12 5
    refers to the letters in the sentence. the 14th 15th 2nd 12th and 5th letter spell ashes.
    im not gonna guess this, cuz even if it's right he/she is gonna get the prize anyways and this may just be a coincidence.
    Also, this doesn't make sense because the sentence has more letters than it needs to solve the riddle. The sentence has more characters than letters in the alphabet, this means that some of the sentence won't even be used. (in this case anything from "to be..." onwards can be ignored. Did DungeonBee do this to throw us off track? :3

    (if it is then idk how we gonna solve anymore riddles if DungeonBee is smart enough to pick words that fit into a sentence that makes sense that also match numbers and codes smh)

    This thing can be used to find 5 letter words if u have half of it or smth...

    The last thing I expected this to be was a cipher-based solve. At this point this feels more like an ARG and less like a riddle.

    Riddles usually involve questions that involve you to think beyond the scope of the sentence in interesting and sometimes perplexing ways. For example, a common riddle is "What has a head, a tail, but no body?", which on the surface makes no sense but by analyzing the riddle and thinking about it from another perspective, you'll realize the answer is a coin.

    I feel like people came into this expecting this to be something like mentioned above, but the answer involving some sort of cipher that wasn't clearly pointed out is leading people into confusion. I know you mentioned somewhere that you don't want this to be game of mao 2 where people get stuck on the same riddle for an excessive amount of time, so maybe in the future if you plan on doing cipher-based riddles, make the cipher element of it a bit more clear so people realize that and switch their method of solving the riddle.

    Just an idea, because I don't want this event to turn into a confusing mess like it's already spiraling into with the first riddle.

    yep. riddles require you to think outside the box and should be able to be done by most people. however this seems to go into the area where some people find it way easier than others. i feel like this is fine tho, the title may need a bit of changing for clarification.

    Also, DungeonBee has already mentioned that this should actually be the 3rd or 4th riddle.

    Yes! You have my discord so I will see you soon?

    The main reason the sentence is so long is because I created the sentence before the answer. I knew I wanted the solution to be this (based on Let Me Explain Studio’s Gravity Falls riddle for those who were wondering). So I had the sentence and proceeded to spend 3 hours trying to find two words. The funny thing is I wanted the answer to be Ashes before I even created the sentence so I just got lucky! The “Use the whole riddle” hint is because the colon created two parts. The second part was the key which most people figured out. Then “using the key on the lock” would get you to the right answer.

    Yeah the title is misleading. I should probably change that…
