Shaman/Skyseer Help Semi active player trying to find their footing

Hi all,

I've bounced in and out of Wynn since before it had a resource pack. I finally got a max-level class (Shaman) and want to explore endgame content like raids and dungeons for the first time. I almost always log in and do my daily for the past few years, and I've gotten lucky with a few Mythics that I've sold to amass around 23.5stx total.

I'm not locked to a specific playstyle, so anything goes here, whatever is the most effective. Also not sure if a mythic build is worth it or in my budget, but I'm open to any suggestions.

Thanks! I've got a few questions. First, why Absolution? As I've said, I don't know anything about the current meta; I've just seen most Shaman builds here using Fantasia. Second, what about powders? Also, how much do these mythics cost?

I've gotten quite lucky with about three mythics total from guild objectives.

 

It is pretty much the only good mythic for shaman.

Absolution has no powder slots, so none.

Absolution is the most expensive relik, and crusade sabatons is the most expensive pair of boots.
If you want ones with good to godly rolls, you will be spending about all of your money.

 

Thanks again! What stats are most important when shopping for these items? Also, no powders on the armor, either?

 

Absolution: water damage (42.5%) > mana regen (25%) > health (20%) > 1st spell cost (7.5%) = fire damage (5%)
Crusade Sabatons: health (85%) > health regen % (10%) > walk speed (5%)

You can powder the armor if you want.
The damage is split into multiple elements but the main is still fire.
So if you want more damage, you could slap 2x tier 6 fire powders on all armor pieces.
And if you want to patch up some elemental defenses, feel free to do so, since powder prices are fairly low.

But what's actually important is having good tomes. That will make your build 100% better.

 

Absolution is a good relik becouse it is tanky, has mana regen and a lot of heals (coming from totem regen or aura heal), while still having good dmg. Tho you can try fantasia for a more dmg option, or olympic if you like mobility.

 

Do you have any updated Fantasia builds?

 

funny how you got a shaman as your endgame class. I don't have builds to offer but if you're interested in TNA (the nameless anomaly raid) then shaman is more useful in the rooms than in the boss just so you know, clearing mobs or healing, this is because the boss is pretty fast and shaman is slow, the boss will probably chase your highest damager if it isnt you

I had level 75 warrior and played intermittently with it after Gavel. When shaman came out, I got back into Wynn enough to grind it to the level cap. I want to raid/war and be a big damage dealer. Should I finish leveling my warrior?

 

If you want BIG damage level an archer. Idk about warrior and shaman tho.

 

raiding and warring... well shaman is probably good at warring, ive never warred before. Shaman is extremely damaging, warrior fallen bmonk even with the nerfs is still very viable, although id personally say archer is more fun to play and stronger (how did you even play warrior pre 2.0 it was so boring lol).

if you want to war shaman with summoner or acolyte is best, if you want to raid acolyte is probably best for TCC and NOTG. if you want to raid orphion id probably say summoner and if you want to raid TNA... well agains the boss maybe ritualist or acolyte but for clearing the rooms ESPECIALLY THE DAM FLIPPING SHRUB ROOM acolyte is the best
