SPOILER Best and most emotional moments?

Hey there!

Today I am here to ask everyone two question.

Firstly, what do you think are the most emotional moments in Wynncraft? Was there ever a moment in a quest that made you cry or really made you feel something?

Secondly, what are your favourite non emotional lines? Could be something poetic, inspirational or even funny.

I will start.
For most emotional moment I will go with the moment when you have to kill Aledar.
For non emotional, I will go with the dialogue form Guardian of the forest, it's just so mind bending. I particularly like the lines about what is evil and what not.

 

The player could very well be like the Knight from Hollow Knight.
No mind to think.
No will to break.
No voice to cry suffering.
Oh wait, you have voicelines? Right... well, none of them are expressions of physical pain, right?
Also, you're a sociopath.

One of the most dramatic scenes is probably in 1k meters under. "Oh yeah, by the way, everyone's dead and you're lost by yourself beneath the reaches of reality."

 

I'll admit, I've never been particularly emotionally tied to any characters or events in Wynncraft. However, in the updated Hollow Serenity, when Katarina asks you if you know about what happened to Eileen, I felt a bit bad and for the first time I actually decided to tell Eileen was doing well just because it would have made me feel bad to tell her otherwise. So, props to whomever wrote that quest for giving me more reason to choose a dialogue option than "I wanted to see what would happen" and actually making me interested enough to find out what happened to Eileen.

 

Oh, something just funny that I liked?

no that's another sad one that made me sad

Um...
I liked Pit of the Dead and Gerts were actually funny. The only thing that made me actually laugh out loud was he Craftmas Cracker joke "Did you hear the joke about the new mythic? ... Nevermind, nobody's ever going to get it."

 

Help I'm stuck writing jokes in a cracker facto-

 

I feel like personally, a lot of the emotional/memorable parts of wynn are a result of interactions with other players. However, there is one part in a quest that did make me sad and that was the olux segment of AHC. I genuinely felt bad about what I had done.

 

big agree to this, new hollow serenity is probably the best-written quest in the game imo

 

Something rlly fucked up happens after the quest if you tell her Eileen is suffering, but I won't spoil it if you don't know

At that point I was doing them more or less at level, and there aren't really any quests like those up until that point, or even many after
Although a bunch of the late quests are also unsettling and perhaps emotional, if not quite as much, like AJB & AJF, 1k meters under, fantastic Voyage

 

One of optional dialogues in The Canary Call (which I havent really go that line in-game lol, I just checked it on wiki).

They don't match perfectly with my case but it's still touching me
Normally such dialogues are seen in, (if I'm expressing it correctly) games that are less of a game, like visual novels or some small indie games which focus much less on gaming
I'd be very glad to see more of them in an mmorpg so that the game gives not only fun

another is in Hollow Serenity, I was shouting inside "WHY TF WOULD YOU GET IN LOVE WITH THIS MAN?????"

 

I second this. Except I chose the other option because I thought honesty was the best policy, but boy did I find out the hard way… It’s the only quest where I legitimately felt guilty for my actions in-game.

Yeah, I looked it up afterwards and was pretty happy I lied.

 

Right after I finished ROL V for the first time, someone shouted "hello :)" right after Lari's final dialogue. Like, perfectly on time with the dialogue so it made it look like it was part of it at first glance. I was shivering.

 

Dullahans now removed “take care of this loser” has to be my favourite funny line.

 

Emotional: that world event with the mouse dying.
Funny: that moment in recovering the past where the boat shrinks in the wrong way (i'm probably the only one ever to laugh at that).

 

Emotional: when efena repeated what ava said about being archaic
non emotional: i have forgorren

 

i cried whe brian was hit by the car

 

most emotional:
killing wynnston - a very cute puppy or maybe playing wynn with an old friend

funny:
that one seaskipper dialogue about a player being afk

 

most emotional:
Finishing AHC for the first time, just felt like I actually accomplished something in wynncraft.

I really liked the dialogue you get after you beat Gale in Qira hive.

• Gale: A lot of people say I'm the roughest we have to offer, so you've got this! I'm sorry you have to go talk to Yansur of all people now, though.
