another Dwarves and Dugans 4 advancement issue

that I finally managed to find something that triggered the quest to continue, I am doing a second post for this second issue figuring that one will be largely ignored now.

When I was able to advance, I had not been actively on the quest right before it and I forgot the staff and amulet. So when I got to the ceremony and the way was opened, I got a message to take an exit portal to Rodoroc to get them. I did. Came back and it's all closed up and cannot replay the scene to get it to open. Tried several things with no luck.

 

You need to retrigger the fight tp. Do that by reentering the village you started the first time.

 

That didn't work. the actual answer was even further back in Rodoroc. Going back up to the control room and pressing the button for the lava bucket again. It had already advanced past it, but it seems that a specific event like a button press triggers when just going to a destination doesn't. I kind of get that. I had made it to where the portal at Garaheth had opened; I just hadn't been through it. So the village trigger was done; I had advanced past it. I could just go visit the village as a normal place again. I wonder what happens if you go press the lava bucket button once the quest is done...
