hello wynncrafters, i've basically quit so I feel obligated to share stealing strat that i’ve been sitting on for like a year and half at this point.

The method uses stealing and plague on the Mt wynn spiders (-233, -1948) to get an exorbant amount of emerald drops. To maximize the strat you want to get a poison tick that kills the big spiders in exactly 5 hits and as much stealing % as possible (max 5 em per enemy).
You can practically afk bc the poison continues to spread so its easy to farm while listening to music. In 2.0 they nerfed stolen pearls but the concept remains the same so if you guys are interested have at it.
I usaully got around 5-5.5k emeralds per mob totem (5min) when using the build

60/5 = 12 totems per minute
5000(12) = 60000 emeralds/hour
That's around 14.5 le/hour

LOOTRUNNING IS NO MORE (popular estimates for lootrunning average at around 12le/hour (please correct me if I'm wrong), making this more efficient (plus, the gear for this has gotta be cheaper than lr gear))!
. . . although you can only sustain this for less than an hour, even with CHAMPION.

Damn, that's another W for lootrunning (sadly).

you are almost certainly better off using totems to farm various valuable crafting ingredients

 

I've thought about trying this before but never actually did it

You literally can go into any area with high spawn rates and have a bit of stealing or loot bonus and spam AOE spells to get lots of ems

what about that one room in Ice barrows where no totem but still high mob spawn rate. could that work :O

The mobs there have 1000 and 700 hp
You need a uranium aegis with around 600 poison tho.

ig this could work. idk if lifesteal is enough.

If you want sustain you could use Old keeper's ring at the cost of 10 less stealing. This build also assumes u have perfect rolls for each stealing piece so you might want to use better crafteds with stolen pearls or smth.

This would be the build with sustain and vindicator for picking up ems... HOWEVER, this build depends on the crafteds and they have a wide range of rolls so u would have to be very lucky with the rolls.

The builds are assassin only but on other classes you would have to use a weapon with no dps or poison. Plus, the 400 reflection and thorns would be rly weird.

 

TNA still beats both of them by a lot if you have a good team tho

 

ive tried this before and
1. its a lot better with shaman (use an oak wood relik or silent ballet)
2. the amount of ems should be a lot higher
3. it either disconnects or crashes my game because of my potato pc so it probably wont work for everyone

Mt Wynn has a lot more enemies than IB bc each spider splits into like 5-9 minions. The other spot i’ve tried and liked was these pits in the dark forest. They give less emeralds than Mt Wynn but can also drop low level mythics which can be a lot more money.

Looks like shaman can trap the enemies better w totem which is cool. It’s hard to see how many emeralds you are actually getting per totem bc it’s so laggy though.

 

would the mobs still be less even without totem?
