What's the best place to gather both Birch and Granite? (Crafting daggers)

    I'm looking for a place to both chop down Birch wood and mine Granite ingots for crafting daggers.

    Also, please, if possible, recommend a place relatively close to a weaponsmithing anvil.

    Birch is found in Detlas Suburbs, Granite mostly in Pigman's ravine. There's no single area with a large quantity of both for what I know.
