How is play time measured?

Curious as I leave the game in class selection a lot. Does that count as play time? I also have one class that really doesn't do anything but buy and sell and is often just standing around at the trade market or bank in Detlas for hours. Ever seen a guy in shorts, an island short and sunglasses just standing there behind the market NPCs in Detlas? That's me. I also sometimes have other classes just standing around in the bank.

I tend to play intermittently and I also leave the market mage standing around when looking at build possibilities, checking to see if things are actually available at reasonable prices. That can be a double whammy on time because I am looking at possible builds intermittently.

Mob count is also inflated by archer having so much walking speed , power and angel/panoptes, which I nearly always keep up. So on the road between places, I sometimes kill hundreds of lower level mobs. But the occasional on level mob does show up in unexpected places.

 

afaik being in /class won't count because you're not logged into a class, but i could be wrong. afk time all counts like normal

is there supposed to be a question in the other two paragraphs

 

just a tangent. I do that. Everything has a backstory. Some are even true...
