Is there any benefits to leveiling skills like Mining, Crafting and those sorts of skills?

Ive been playing on they wynncraft server for around 6 days now, but haven't had any reason to look into those skills yet and am wondering if there is any somewhat major benefits to leveling them up?

 

If you just started playing then there is no use leveling them but if you have high levelled classes you can make really good crafted items. However If you do this on your first playthrough it is going to be really time consuming without giving you that much of a benefit.

 

theres also that one quest where you need like mining, woodcutting, and fishing 20 in olux for the olux prized weapons but you don't really need them
other than that if you've just started then dont
its painful

 

Professions are used for crafted items, which can range from bad to incredibly good.

Also theres this one pretty good quest at level 54 that needs level 20 in mining/woodcutting/fishing

 

My stance on professions is this: if this is your first time playing through the game, just ignore them for now and pursue them later on once you've completed a full playthrough.

Professions can be a really good way to make money in the end game, but it requires time put in to reach a level at which materials and crafted gear will sell for a decent amount. You'll likely need to be near or at level 100+ anyways to gather these resources, and if you decide to start professions at a high level you can invest in gathering xp gear which will make the experience much less of a grind.

Besides, you're likely still at the point where money doesn't really matter a ton to you, so don't worry about them (unless you really want the Olux Prized Weapon from that one quest).
