The manner in which the quests were reset in 2.0 doesn't make any sense.

Hello, this is a small complaining post from someone who likes quests and cares about lore.

Basically, I want to ask the community, but mainly the Content Team and its Managers, what was the thought process behind deciding which quests would get reset for 2.0 and which wouldn't?

Because some quests, that received barely any changes got reset:
    Recipe for Disaster
    Royal Trials
The Lost (more substantial changes than the other two, but still not enough for a reset in my opinion)

    -

Meanwhile, some other quests, that I would really like to play and experience again due to the changes they received are locked away from me, because... I don't know why. Quests such as:

    Fantastic Voyage (the biggest offender)
    Purple and Blue
    Fallen Delivery

I'm not saying these three (and honestly more) quests got some substantial gameplay reworks that 100% needed a reset, but quests like Recipe for Disaster and Royal Trials didn't get those either, so why reset those and not the others? I read through the new "Fantastic Voyage" on the wiki while translating the quest and it honestly seems like a much more interesting quest that I would like to play. But I can never ever do that unless I do it on an alt account or something, which is really not something I want to do.

I don't want this post to be perceived negatively by the CT, I just genuinely don't get the process behind these resets (or the lack of them). So any helpful answers that would help me understand this, will be greatly appreciated!

If I'm not misremembering, quests get reset when specifically the number of stages (quest book updates) gets changed, just as a byproduct of how the system works. So The Lost gets a reset because the new version increased the stage count on the backend, but Fantastic Voyage doesn't because it still technically uses the same number of stages (although as demonstrated during the 2.0 beta, the team definitely do have methods to manually reset quests if they so choose). It may not be that simple though, especially with how sophisticated the quest system has become.

Thanks for the explanation, though I still wish that they'd go the extra steps to reset some quests that get changed through major updates. Especially the Fantastic Voyage quest makes me disappointed that I cannot play it.

edit: Also honestly I had no idea that resetting reworked quests wasn't intentional and it just "happens" when they change the number of stages. That's kinda weird.
