Please never add any shit like this again into the game. It's not fun having to stare at the ground for 20 minutes and having no checkpoints anywhere. I'd rather play shaman than do this god awful dungeon again.

I know a lot of people are gonna say "Skill Issue", but in all seriousness here, I agree the parkour is too hard for something that is mandatory (EO is mandatory if you wish to do Hunter's Calling). I'm fine with parkour of this difficulty level existing in other spots of the game such as eco caves, but having it in the only dungeon that players are required to complete?? A lot of the mandatory parkour in Wynn is made simple because truthfully, a lot of players just suck at parkour. And that's okay if you do, it's a block game you play for fun. Not everyone is a hardcore gamer, nor should it be expected that they are. This parkour (especially the last stage) requires a skill level that does not reflect other parkour stages in other quests/dungeons. It's a drastic increase in difficulty that is unnecessary and practically punishing for most players.

The worst part is, no matter if you find the parkour difficult or easy, the boss is always going to be easier...

I fully agree, for such a fundamental dungeon the parkour is way too hard. I like the idea and all, but, even I -Minecraft hardcore gamer of 8+ years- struggles a little bit with the EO parkour. I propose that Wynn just make the parkour at the first stage height. This way that type of parkour is still being used AND isn’t too difficult for new players, or players who are simply bad at parkpur (nothing wrong with that).

even though I've beaten EO literally hundreds of times as of now, I know that others struggle greatly with the EO parkour. I do think the parkour needs checkpoints, preferably around halfway into the 3rd and 4th parkour stages.

I have never had a difficult time with it, even from my first attempt with it, I breezed through it. It's still easay with the fourth section being brought back.

That being said, I see so many people complaining about it, and there is definitely a voice to be heard of people who think it's too challenging. Whether it be a loud minority or a majority, these people should be taken into consideration. Something should be done about the parkour so that it can be possible to complete with a little challenge to anyone who wants to get to Dern.

No parkour should be so difficult that numerous people complain about it, especially with such loud discontent towards it. It should still challenge these people, sure, but not in a way that's torturous and near impossible to many people.

I've never had bigger issues completing this parkour segment, even after the 4th stage was added, however, during some party EO runs, I'd wait up to 20-25 minutes (not kidding) for one of the party members to finish the parkour. I think the longest I've had to wait was around 35-40 minutes. Most of these people would then tell me that they never want to do this dungeon again. So if Content Team's goal with this parkour stage was to make players hate it and want to never experience this piece of content again (meaning the whole dungeon), they definitely succeeded. Which sucks cuz items u get from the EO dungeon shop can be quite useful.

It took me 30 mins my first time but after that it became easy. Even with the new section it takes me 5 minutes tops. It's not that hard once you figure it out.

Problem is not everyone is a master at parkour. A lot of players will never be good at it. Many will probably struggle more than you did on your first attempt and will never improve. If the parkour isn't going to change, then there should be a pity system that lets players progress if they fail it one too many times.

Yeah, I legit have a friend who takes 30 minutes to an hour to do parkour every time we do EO. It's gotten to a point where he just can't do EO, and he is terrible at the fight because he hasn't been able to practice it much (due to not doing it as often because the parkour).

Not necessarily saying the parkour should be "nerfed," just that it is exceedingly hard for people bad at parkour

(Also, even now I find it a way more efficient use of my time to just movement spell the entirety of the parkour, lol. Even for someone with 93 EO completions the parkour is nontrivially hard)

To add on to this, it’s also nearly impossible to speedrun this parkour unlike pre 2.0. More jumps were added to the first 3 sections that make it very easy to overshoot when trying to speedrun. The fourth section is just unfun torture. I haven’t touched EO after doing it once since 2.0 and that says a lot about the state of parkour (and also boss is too easy with the 2.0 dps now). I say this with over a thousand runs attempted on this dungeon since 2.0.

Dang I've never seen so many people complain about parkour like this before. Maybe this is just my uninformed ass not realizing how long I've actually been playing Minecraft but I never found any of the wynncraft parkour to be challenging. The hardest ones took maybe a couple tries to figure it out and that was it. I'd honestly feel like the parkour sections would straight up just be wasting my time if they were any easier. I find even EO hard to mess up unless I'm using statue or something. So, I'm personally against nerfing any parkour section too hard. Granted, I really do like the idea of a pity system that lemonalade suggested, it would keep the parkour interesting for the experienced players while not gatekeeping those with less practice. It also might be worth making the hardest parkour sections only appear in optional pieces of gameplay, like one of those gather rooms in raids, where you have other things to choose (like combat and puzzles) if you don't like the parkour, and the mandatory parkour sections in quests and stuff could be made a bit easier (in addition to a pity system).

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the mandatory invisible block parkour. Yes, there are tricks like reducing FOV or bringing jump boost to help with the parkour, but this is a bit too much to ask for a Minecraft player who does not have many hours of rigorous exposure to parkour (many players). I have a friend who joined Wynn as their first Minecraft experience. They took about 20-30 mins and have not touched that place again after that.

I... have never at any point thought that EO parkour is hard. Only dungeon parkour that imo even comes close to being hard is pre-2.0 galleon's graveyard, but that's not due to difficulty of the actual parkour, it's just that the whirlpools are either: indecisive little pricks, one below you can just lock onto you for no reason and sends you flying back down, or both.

I can certainly understand frustrations about EO's parkour, though, and I do think that if *this* many players complain about it it could be a legitimate problem, but me personally, never had trouble with it. I'd even argue it's easy if you don't try to rush it, like a lot of people tend to want to do.

Sometimes I struggle in that parkour as well. Sure, you could do it under 5 mins if you don't rush, however it is still annoying that you have to look at the ground and do one jump at a time. The last two parkour sections are especially punishing - in case you failed a jump you have to start all over again.

So yea, the parkour needs some tweaking, not everyone are parkour experts in this game.

I don't mind the parkour myself but IMO if some people take way more time to do the parkour than to kill the boss itself then that is an issue. I can vouch for the people who talk about the 25-30 minutes, I once tried to help a player clear the dungeon but they took over 40 minutes while it was basically night in my timezone lol

I vouch for the pity system too. I personally really enjoy the parkour and I would not like for it to be entirely remade or removed, but since it’s clearly a big problem for a lot of people, failing ~20 times (or whatever would be a fitting number) should give the option to either skip that segment or skip to the very end.

I think that the main issue with the parkour is that the final 2 (really 1 but sometimes the third stage can be difficult) sections are extremely punishing, and the angrier you get the harder it is to concentrate and the worse you do. I did EO on one of my most recent grinded classes in 2.0 and I literally failed on the last jump like 20-30 times. It is incredibly demoralizing to get 99% of the way through over and over again and then just lose all of that progress, and more checkpoints would probably help with that.
