this was the worst 7 months I have ever spent in my life, I should've realized as soon as I lost enjoyment. I am moving to hypixel skyblock, an astronomically better game.

Wynncraft, is an awful server. It boasts deep lore that is terrible, plenty of contents that no one asked for and just looks stupid with the custom texture packs and the custom built map (they seriously have some very, very talented builders). The website looks awful, and the amount of progression and quests to do makes it like all the more grinfy RPGs, but in MINECRAFT! With no mods!

Overall, the game is very bad.. Progression is really clear in the game, with some areas looking menacing and discourages new players, and some areas being laid back and welcoming.

When you begin your adventure, you go through a tutorial level, and unlike other tutorials, is actually worse than hypixel skyblock. It slowly levers you into the game, teaching you basic skills and spells that you need to progress.

One thing that I absolutely hate about Wynncraft? The fact that it's an open-world style RPG. That means exploration, and I hate adventuring.

Each area has it's own "theme" and, again, I can't stress this enough, the map looks terrible.

Of course, we can't not talk about Wynncraft without talking about the lore. It features deep lore, each city having it's own unique history, and an actual end point; to defeat the corruptions that rampage the lands.

But, there is one downside to Wynncraft. You don't have as much freedom as you do in Skyblock. I mean at it's core it is kill mobs to level up, find better loot and gear, explore, and grind skills; which is very standard for RPG games. This makes Skyblock unique, in which that you can do a million things and not get bored.

Also, the large map is kind of actually killing itself. The long travel times between far-flung locations makes travelling tortuous. Even travelling from Ragni to Detlas took forever to me, imagine getting to the Gavel Province!

This is a copypasta I believe, I've seen on the hypixel forums before.

 

Uh-huh, Wynn does it all wrong with amazing combat system, spells, bosses, quests, builds and nostalgia. Hypixel skyblock barley includes any of that, which is why it is obviously better that Wynncraft. Can't possibly believe that Wynncraft actually thinks that the far superiors map can acomplish anything.
