Despite the recent reworks to Sand Swept Tomb, Undergrowth Ruins, and Galleon’s Graveyard, there are still several dungeons that have been outdated in terms of content, design, and mechanics. Overall, which dungeon do you think deserves a rework the most? Me personally, I would say Infested Pit, but Lost Sanctuary is close second due to boring content and a level range that most people skim past.

I get that Decrepit Sewers is the first dungeon, but it still feels lack-luster. It's just 2 token collecting rooms joined by a tiny parkour.

Infested Pit is mechanically fine, but it just feels outdated.

Lost Sanctuary is repetitive and uninteresting.

Underworld Crypt is just awful. It's a waiting room, followed by a waiting room, followed by more waiting, then after the tiniest battle ever... another waiting room. Desperately needs a change.

Ice Barrows manages to be my least favourite. Long. Repetetive. Slow (sometimes with literal slowness effects). The first room is fine, and really the parkour and token collecting is too. But the invisible maze is slow, boring, and just a really unfun experience which just needs removing. Same goes for the weird 'run, but actually wait for like 40 seconds, then repeat' part, it's just not fun or interesting.

Fallen Factory suffers from the same problem as Infested Pit in my opinion, there's nothing really wrong with it. but after years of other content getting revamped and improved, it just feels slightly left behind. But honestly, this dungeon (from this list) is easily the best one.

I'd say Fallen Factory is currently in the most need of a rework solely based on the fact that it's pretty much incompleteable due to the rail-gunner room being broken

Disregarding bugs, though, I think Lost Sanctuary is the most in need of a rework, followed by Underworld Crypt.

I actually like Decrepit Sewers alright as a starting dungeon, especially since the second token room tends to give you pretty much exactly enough tokens to open the door just by going through to the exit and killing all the mobs in the way. It makes that room flow really well. Also, the boss is actually decent for a starter boss in terms of mechanics, though there's absolutely a lot more room for improvement now with the advent of custom boss spells.

I feel like Infested pit is generally fine if a little boring. The idea of cutting off entrances to keep the spiders from catching you is a pretty cool idea that could be fleshed out more than it currently is.

Lost Sanctuary is literally the same token collecting room 3 times, a brief parkour section, and then the same room again but you also need to lure the boss to his death. Even pre-rework Galleon's Graveyard did this style of boss fight in a more interesting way, IMO. It also fucks with established lore.

Underworld crypt is three waiting rooms, a boss fight, and a boat ride. I appreciate the lack of token rooms and the ingenuity of the boss fight, and the boat ride is a cool gimmick, but it needs to be reworked to have more actual combat than it currently does.

I feel like the Ice Barrows experience is directly tied to how much walk speed you have. If you have a good amount, it's generally fine. If you don't, the first token room, invisible maze, and run portions are god-awful.

Fallen Factory's "boss" fight could use a little more boss fight and a little less token room, but the actual final boss is fine and everything else is generally okay.

Since no one voted underworld crypt, I’m gonna go ahead and say it needs a revamp. The other dungeons in the poll definitely have flaws, some of which are massive, but at least you play them. The dungeon is just waiting around. It’s non-gameplay that’s novel the first time but on the 20th run it’s painful and far worse in the corrupted version. The boss fight is cool but is far more suited to a quest in my opinion. The dungeon honestly needs a ground-up rework to make it more engaging.

Underworld crypt 8s cool in theory, but especially with the last room it feels like something got lost in translation
Even with the sending people to attack Charon so you won't die, I feel like he's much less powerful than he should be considering that he's basically the god of death or whatever
Killing corrupted citizens & mages is all well & good, but specially for that level chain is too much like any other boss

The only thing underworld crypt has going for it is its unique bossfight (and music) so I feel like if it gets reworked it should keep the mechanic but improve it a lot.

I feel ice barrows works pretty well. It is pretty difficult at level (I dunno anymore they nerfed it apparently like a week ago) and, if you don't cheese the run section, there are some pretty unique parts to the dungeon. It is appropriately themed, and theorick is pretty difficult (slykaar is a bit harder and feels samey but whatever). The one part that is annoying is the invisible maze but whatever. My biggest complaint is the builds. They just feel pretty old.

Personally I think most dungeons are fine. While the galleons graveyard is now the prime example of what a dungeon should be, I would much rather have a story update like Fruma or Wynn/Ocean reborn (assuming they were released at once)...

Lost sanctuary, first burning bridge is terrible and parties take years to get fully through. Collecting TNT is kinda repetitive, and bossfight is just 'dodge charge until you collect enough TNTS'.

I know I’m repeating everyone above this comment, but HAVING TO DO SAME EXACT ROOM 3 TIMES is kinda stupid. Also the rest of the dungeon is kinda garbage. The bridge section is so freaking irritating, the parkour is meh, and the boss has a fun gimmick, but is too easy.

On the other hand, just how intensive can they make either of these really, since they're lower level.
But Ice Barrows, 1000% agree. It's not the most fun of dungeons and I'd dare risk saying is physically painful if you're say a Warrior that can't spam spells much. Especially when it comes to Theorick. It's obnoxious.

Imo FF probably doesn't deserve to be on this list, it had a lot of issues but it's gotten several reworks, at this point it's pretty complete and functional which is much more than can be said about just about every other dungeon in the game which routinely break for mysterious reasons. Maybe it isn't the most exciting, but that's just because it's been so consistently good there's been no need to ever change it.

Honestly, out of all the dungeons, FF is the one that's by far the most broken from my experience, there's just so many random things that happen, like the elevators not taking you to the next floor for absolutely no reason, forcing you to go back to the start, or there being Invisible barriers that block you from doing Antikythera (I've had this happen to me and I do not know what causes this glitch), I also don't really find the dungeon itself that fun since a good chunk of it is just token grindspots, it's not as lazy as something like LS (which honestly is moreso just commentary of how terrible that dungeon is), there are some fun parts like the parkour, which is still probably some of the most inventive parkour in the game, but those don't save it from feeling like a slog to go through.

I mean, I won't deny if you've said that you've had issues but personally I haven't had any with the newest version where as with every other dungeon (except sst) I've had some kind of stuck issue or rooms which just don't work. For the longest time if you ran IP with two or more people there was a realistic chance you would just get stuck in barriers during the dialogue part, the boss in LS can literally just not die and UC routinely has the platform bridges just there, there's a chance the boat just doesn't TP you and the boss is insanely inconsistent and can get pretty laggy.

I'm not going to argue that FF is perfect, it's definitely not, the first phase of the boss fight is pretty vague with the token collecting and moving blocks are just prone to breaking which affects FF more than other dungeons, but in my experience of running every version of FF several times, it has never made me /kill to fix an issue which unfortunately isn't something I can say for any other dungeon on this list.

Also if the parkour is an issue that's really more of a skill thing, there's a lot of routes you can take which really speed up the process, the default route is insanely slow but with some well timed jumps and use of movement skills you can clear it extremely quickly without using any elevators at all. I agree about the token stuff though, they really should cut back on it by taking it out of the boss fight, the first two rooms aren't that bad.

Genuinely, how have you not had issues with it in the most recent update? I’ve literally gone three for three on the railgunner room before the boss completely breaking down and softlocking me and other players

I haven't played it in 1.20, I didn't realize that anything was changed and no changelog mentioned iirc. If 1.20 broke it than that's a different story and I agree it should be fixed, still doesn't need a complete rework though.
