What's your Wynncraft unpopular opinion?

I'll start: The EO parkour isn't hard enough.

 

Oh boy, this thread fits me

I liked doing The Canyon Guides 1.20 because i was good at it.
I liked doing The Canary Calls 1.20
Gathering profs can be pretty therapeutic and enjoyable.
Warrior is, always has been and always will be the best class.
Early game is boring.
Ironman is better than normal gameplay.
The Canyon of the Lost is easy to navigate.
Scripted spells are horrible and annoying.

That's enough for now I think

 

- Warrior is the most fun class to play, even before 2.0 buffed it.
- Archer is an unfun class to play and I cannot stand playing it.
- I actually find doing 7/7 forgery runs enjoyable.
- I like avoiding getting mythic from forgery chest because I find it funnier to watch a number go up instead.
- Prof grinding isn't actually that bad and in some cases can be relaxing even.
- Getting 1690 total level isn't as big as an achievement as you think it is.


- ...I don't like mythics and what they represent. Fight me.

 

Pvp is unenjoyable not just because it's horrendously imbalanced
Wynntils is overused and people rely on it too much, also it shouldn't have the option to view a player's equipment
Assassin is actually good as a tank and people look at it as a damage-dealer too much
Speed-based support is underconsidered by the development team
All classes should have some form of innate active healing that isn't specifically granted by specified items or expensive healing potions

 

I think Boltslinger is fun.

 

I think Molten Heights is a good area...

 

Guild tomes shouldn't exist

 

Arcanist > riftwalker

 

trickster is good
i just suspect it has a rrally high skill floor

 

Hive armors all need buff, remove their -30 skill points on other elements and generally buff them.

Mining sequence singlehandly drains out all motivation to play Canary Calls

TNA shouldn't drop that much rewards.

This, I wanted this so bad in 2.0

 

Infested Pit is unfair to more than half the classes and is therefore a worse dungeon than Lost Sanctuary

 

I think it has a really low skill ceiling instead, you basically just cast dash and sit on your smoke bomb and that's the entire thing

 

Lightbender is overrated and boring
Sharpshooter is the best arche(r)type
Boltslinger is also overrated and doesn't feel like the definition of Archer, because it's close-ranged and Archer is supposed to be the long ranged class
Buff Windy feet or make Stormy feet accessible to Sharpshooter
50% of the reason I like/use Arcanist is because of Pyrokinesis and getting mana from it, I also really like Psychokinesis
Crepuscular ray is the best ability because it just does so much damage and you can fly
Redbeard's Hand Cannon is meta for sharpshooter (lvl 72 archer)
Twain's Arc is a sniper rifle, and it's one of the best xp farming abilities in the game (not add-clear, but xp farming)
Chain Lightning and Quake need to synergize with Homing Shots
(As you can tell, I like sharpshooter too much)

 

Ava and lari suck. Sure they have character arcs, but both of them are idiots in some way or another

 

Eye of the Storm was a legitimately fun and engaging quest that should not have been deleted. The most it deserved was a remake to bring it more in-line with lore.

Item Identification system is too random and item rolls should be improvable without making them [4]

 

Probably not unpopular but I think most archetypes should be nerfed in 1 way or another.

 

1.20 is oddly underrated as an overall update
