I'm returning to Wynncraft, but I don't know what to do.

Hello there stranger from far-away lands. I want to return to play Wynncraft, but I have no idea on what should I do. A close friend of mine has told me to do quests, and that's definitely an option, but other than that, I don't what should I do. Any ideas? Thanks in regard.

One thing I like to do when returning to a game is to read all the patch notes of updates that I've missed! You'll see all the major changes that you've missed and one place and the game won't feel as overwhelming.

 

Depending on how long you've been gone, you might consider starting a new character. A lot has changed and if you've been away for more than a few updates, starting a new character would let you experience the new content properly.

 

If I remember correctly, I stopped playing seriously at 1.20.3, though I tried to get my friend to play 2.0, but never got a word back of it. Anyways, thank ye, Morgoth.

 

I'm not an ambassador for VoW or anything, nor am I even that closely befriended with @Kmaxi but I recently started an Ironman archer in which to finally try one of the challenge modes and to simply experience questing without speed running them for the sake of completion - something I haven't done in a long time.

I would definitely keep doing quests. They take you through each area of Wynncraft and if you aren't rushing them you can appreciate some of the immense builds on this server, whenever I took a break and came back to the game I would hop on a character I felt like playing and just take my time doing a few quests.
