SPOILER My thoughts on the new Qira Hive bosses

    disclaimr: i have not beaten these at level, but it wasnt with a proper build either
    This was the build i used up to Solar Vanguard
    and this was the one I used for Qira

    Here's my thoughts on each:
    Thunder: kinda neat. Massive Bash + Boiling Blood made short work of em, but it was still disorienting and relitively dangerous
    Air: Gale was easier then Psychomancer, barely a blip on my radar
    Earth: Earth is where I started having difficulty. Mostly because I had to play extremely aggressivly due to the time limit. (why does the time limit exist?????) Overall, it only counted towards 1 death out of 15
    Water: fuck water. I dont know what the devs were thinking adding: debuffs, true damage scripted spells that can stack, and a ranged boss with Wave and Heavy Wave. This division counted towards 12/15 deaths. 2022-09-28_23.15.13.png
    Fire: Solar Vanguard was hard, but well telegraphed and the heavy hitting things were avoidable. This counted 1 death

    and Qira Herself: Qira was hard, and did force me to change my build. That said, once I had changed my build, I just had to play aggressivly to actually beat her. Why? Becuase of the lag. Seriously, I got a max of 5fps the entire fight after the 3rd phase.

    Basically:
    True damage scripted spells are unnescessarily punishing. You already nerfed Def and Agi, the fights are dangerous enough without bypassing them (many deaths can testify to this)
    The lag in the Qira bossfight needs to be fixed. It was unplayable.
    Water hive needs a nerf to scripted spells at the very least. Having the 3 running simultaniusly while the boss sat in the middle of the arena protected by a variable shield of true damage. On top of that, the debuffs. I dont need -5k health and -mr. The boss is hard enough as is.

    Next playthrough (battle monk) I'll do each boss at the intended level and then more thouroughly review the Hive again. This was just my initial reactions to the absurd scripted stuff in Water

    I hope you noticed but you can avoid the debuff by not attacking the boss whenever dialogue starts and asks you to hold on a second

    I did notice that, and my subsequent attempts avoided it.

    I noticed it the 2nd time

    water boss' debuff spell was meant to be removed, and it has been for next hotfix. it's just supposed to have the typhoons

    I wholeheartedly agree with Oceanic Judge being way too hard, and I was lv 105 when I fought it on the beta. Those debuffs are ok in theory but awful in practice as they are too punishing. If anything, the debuff should remove the -health stuff and the retaliation should get rid of the -33% true damage.

    semi-offtopic but I didn't realize they changed the elemental bosses of the qira hive, I just thought me dying to the oceanic judge on level 105 morph mage like 4 times even whilst avoid the debuffs was just me being bad out of nowhere.

    edit: I have figured out the trick to beating it with lightbender the nothing morph, tldr is you spam heal and teleport to run away from the waves and also to get close to the boss to hit it as much with your orbs and easy victory

    I think it was you being bad. I did it two times in a row with the debuff both times with morph-the nothing mage.
