Which is better, Skyblock or Wynncraft?

isnt hsb gameplay mostly just farming

 

Yeah but I will say grinding stuff like skills in sb is way better than the Wynncraft equivalent (profs)
And sb does have stuff like dungeons which are actually really fun when pfinder doesn’t give u a terrible team

also to op can we stop comparing these games already as it’s been said over and over they are both very different games with good aspects and bad aspects

 

I have tried both. Probably played each long enough to no longer be considered a beginner, but not really a veteran user yet. I far prefer Wynncraft, but it is more what I was looking for. It's an online RPG that uses MC but more as an engine than a regular MC experience. In Skyblox, it feels more like MC in a multi user world. It has extensions that are not so base MC like, but I was pretty much immediately pushed down the path of mining and harvesting to make the money to get tools and weapons. I didn't do any PVP combat; mostly fought mobs in mines and in areas where they were in the main area, like the graveyard. Even though it is open world, I felt like it is to a lesser degree than Wynncraft. I also felt like all I was doing was playing a video game except that once you made a level you could go back to it right away in the future. But it seemed like I was just trying to accumulate money to upgrade gear to get to a new level. I didn't feel like I was on a journey. It could be that I really wasn't playing it "right", but if so then I feel like that's a strike against it; Wynncraft ws (and to some degree still is) confusing but pushed me down a path that clears the confusion.

I will say, for as much as I dislike Skyblock (especially because they totally copied shit from us) there is some good ideas in there. I like fishing up creatures.

I had to look up Skyblock. Honestly, this question is very subjective. These 2 servers are completely different genres. One being an MORPG the other being a Survival.
I like both genres, so I can't really vote.

 

I think the skyblock you found isn't the one mentioned here. Hypixel Skyblock is very different than normal skyblock.

Have u seen the forums tho? It’s very rare to find a sb player on the forums that says they like the game

 

As an sb forumer and sb player I can confirm that 90% of forum users are accounts created by sweats or new players that got scammed/hacked/banned etc.

And the whole "sb bad" thing is just a joke tbh. Everybody says it but nobody actually means it.. except in some cases but that's always gonna happen!
