    Why not make it so that tanks actually need a healer, rather than just be self-sufficient instead of this nerf? idk I dont play tank, just a suggestion.

    Make it so teams need tanks, healers, and dps, but paladin isnt the only choice for tanking.

    Wait so Assassin still gets 20s lure that works on all mobs (even mobs that spawn after you used it), has no cooldown and can be transferred to minions but Paladin's already inferior 5s provoke (only works on mobs hit by war scream, not affecting far away or newly spawned mobs) needed a nerf?

    And while I agree that mantle was really strong it just.. Never was that great for Paladin since you get hit a lot on it. It always was more of a Fallen and Monk thing. In my opinion it'd have been a better decision to make it harder to use on Fallen or Monk, for example by switching its position with Manachism.

    That's because item makers are trying to actually play and check out each class and archetype more fully before committing to changes, and thusfar we've been focusing on one thing at a time. They're on the way, but shockingly, balancing takes time, and- equally as shocking- insulting us doesn't really help us along.
    Is it just those things that are giving you trouble?

    Actually on reflection, Mantle is actually pretty weak and useless when it comes into the endgame even pre-nerf so I don’t mind those changes all that much lol except the fact that the archetype in general is just kinda weird and doesn’t add much to warrior that isn’t already in its base design for a tanky melee build

    Like Aftershokke, I agree that the buff to the void hole ehp was far too large. Right now it basically functions as a dps check, basically requiring your team to have about 60k dps. (600k hp in 10 seconds, right? I can't remember the specific hp and lifespan of the void hole but I think I'm close.) The problem here is how different classes used to and now approach the challenge of the void hole. Previously, when the void hole's health was lower, any member of your team with sufficient enough dps could take it out. It wasn't a huge deal, you just had to make sure somebody was going to take care of it. Didn't matter if they were a super crazy tstack archer or just an average riftwalker, as long as they weren't purely a hypertank or healer, they could do it. It made the void holes feel like something everybody could participate in, not just the people who were min-maxing dps. Now, after the health buff, that's no longer the case. I assume this change was made to encourage teams to combine their dps and take down the void hole together, which is a very good idea, however the result, from my experience, was not that. Instead of banding together, most of my teammates, and even myself straight up started ignoring void holes. Why? This mostly just boils down to some early-update balancing problems. Right now, tstack archer is BY FAR the strongest class out there, and any good tstack archer build can solo the void holes easily. Tstack archer is also one of the more popular builds to bring to the raid, so you usually have one in your party. Since tstack archer is one of the only build types that can solo the void holes(with a couple of exceptions like fallen warrior, but those exceptions are far less common), and since archer's damage is so much bigger than almost any other build type out there, this leads to lots of team members just deciding "well, I'm not going to go try to kill the void hole, because we have an archer, and they can handle it themselves. Besides, if I go over to try to kill the void hole my dps will be so comparatively tiny it won't even matter. I may as well ignore it." This isn't very fun and makes you feel insignificant to your team if you aren't the archer. This also leads to the possibility of getting a team on pfinder where there is no dps archer, and that actually does result in teams having to team up to kill the void hole, as I assume was intended. However, I feel like the void hole's health is still too much for a non-archer team to take it down consistently, even while teaming up. So, the void holes are too easy to kill for archers, and too hard to kill for non-archers. Obviously the solution here would be to buff all the other archetypes' dps to levels at least somewhat close to archer, but balance patches take time, so I think for now a good compromise would be to put the void hole hp somewhere around halfway between what it was before and what it is now. That way teams without a dps archer can still take it down consistently as long as they have good teamwork. This does mean that archers will still be able to absolutely shred the void holes, but once again I don't think that's a void hole problem, that's just a problem with the other classes not being as strong as archer.

    TLDR, void hole buff was too big and now basically only dps archers can kill them, which means non-archers have less fun.

    That's fair enough and I'll take that into account, but this is absolutely also telling me that archers still have way too much damage honestly. If it's too much for others, yeah, sure- but if it's too much for everyone except archers, that means there's a problem with archers.

    Idk about Archer, but Shaman seems pretty balanced so far based off my recent playthrough as a Ritualistic and Acolyte, and nightbaker’s video and other’s feedback. On most bosses I died at least once and you can easily get killed such as by Bob’s arrow storm and Death’s scythes if you’re not careful. Even after the recent defense buff. Plus totem’s heal got nerfed and isn’t really strong.

    Overall I wouldn’t call Shaman as a whole, “absolutely disgustingly broken” and I don’t think it really needs any significant changes atm. Just my two cents, and this is more of a response to Salami.

    (Don't take this as a jab at Salted or any of the developers, I think this hotfix had mostly good ability changes including the paladin changes, just found the provoke change a bit odd and thought this would be a really funny image to make)

    I haven't done a new playthrough yet so I can't speak on behalf of how the class is whilst leveling up, but shaman is arguably by far the best endgame generalist currently with acolyte investment. Sacrificial shrine in combination with rebound allows for the best self and team healing in game, and in conjunction with mask of the lunatic you get essentially a constant 100% multiplicative aura damage boost at all times. Summoner also works well with this acolyte investment and boasts higher single target damage, with the class' only main weakness being mobility. Warrior and archer have better highs than shaman, but when considering every archetype of the classes, shaman has the highest overall dps. The aura hitbox was significantly buffed as well, cementing the class as the best aoe damage dealer even further. It's definitely a prime example of 2.0 power creep, but on a more positive note, I feel most of these issues can be tackled pretty easily.

    some ideas that i wrote without thinking:
    make assassin somewhere equal to warrior istg playing level 105 assassin is like playing level 80 warrior by this point
    make arcanist either do more damage than light bender or not die to a papercut
    make fallen not die to a papercut
    make battle monke more damag
    fix crepescular ray so u cant levitate above scrapyard
    rebuff poison
    make guild war towers more tanky and less damaging

    Can you fix the server so I don't get java.io.ioexception and get kicked after switching servers?
    Besides, can you fix the world shutdown thing? I got kicked in 3/5 TCC boss today

    Movement means you can dodge attacks much more, and remember you don't need to be extremely low health to use corrupted, it's bonuses work well even at half health.

    • Inversed the ingredient pouch pickup logic from chests (shift-click to put in pouch, left-click to put in inventory)
    fair change, that's how i was trying to do this initially
    however it will take a bit to get used to the more intuitive approach you have now

    Okay yea we need assassin buff AND fix the servers from kicking people out of the server
    I got kicked 5 times when i nearly killed TNA and that is frustrating as hell
