New player armour builds

Hello,

So I recently started playing on wynncraft and so far it has been awesome!

But since I am new I don't know much about armour builds and weapons

How do I know what armour is better and which weapons are better for my level when playing?

In early game, just try to use higher leveled gear when you find it. Note that the higher the rarity, the better the gear:
normal < unique < rare < set(If you have multiple pieces) < legendary < fabled < mythic
Sometimes a lower leveled legendary can be better than other higher leveled pieces of gear.

Is crafted armor not better?

And should i care about other professions like wood cutting and stuff?

 

Crafted gear does have greater raw power, but grinding profession, especially at higher levels, is way too time consuming. I suggest reaching a total level of 300 to unlock a tome slot late game, but other than that I don't recommend professions on your first playthrough.

 

I am actually sort of new, but had a lot of time on my hands recently. One thing I wish I had know earlier is that while selling most stuff outside your class to the blacksmith is the easiest way to cash in, if you get a legendary sword, wand or whatever, try selling it in the market. They have been selling for me and then I can usually find legendary bows for sale pretty much on par. I am a boltslinger, so I only look at normal, fast or very fast bows and I like walking speed for the way I tend to fight. Be sure to look close at everything affected; there always seem to be tradeoffs. I avoid anything that has a negative effect on mana regen or walking speed. Don't forget to get your bonus items every day.
