The Hero of Gavel - Cannot finish Quest - Stage 20

Hello, Im currently at the last stage of the quest, but Im not able to finish it.

Stage 20: Find a way to escape through the skylight at the end of the cave.

To progress/finish the quest I need to exit the cave with the lava geyser, but as I saved Siegfried/Gurix i have to have a parachute and soft boots to proceed. I have the parachute, but not the soft boots. I forgot to pick up the soft slime earlier in the cave and and therefore cannot craft the soft boots. I also cannot go further back than the spider web. I have already tried /kill, but I just respawn behind the spider web.

Is there any way to kill Siegfried/Gurix or obtain the slime at this stage? Or is there a way to reset the quest?

I have got the exact same issue, and you are blocked from coming back and actually get the soft slime :(

 

I’m pretty sure you can craft hard boots from the things in the village. Giving them to Gurix will kill him but that’s the only way.

Same for me, i wish i let him died so i wouldn't had to craft those boots :(
